That hit to the nose seemed to bring me to my senses and rage filled inside me.

I was no animal that they could enjoy seeing tortured . In fact, I was an animal rights activist and hated it when people hurt them. Not the point. I reminded myself.

Before the person infront of me had the chance to attack, I hit him with my sword, he seemed taken aback. I took this time to hook my legs around his ankle and trip him to the ground. I then stabbed him straight in the stomach.

The whole crowd went silent. I looked at Theron and was pleased to see shock in his face. But before I had the time to register this, his shock turned in a smirk, he looked amused. That. piece. of .shit.

"Medics!" he called calmly.

Three medics came running from the crowd to tend to the man, but I doubted they could save him. He was as good as dead.

Two guards then came up near me and chained me, no doubt to take me back to my prison cell. But, they actually just placed me next to their king. He gave me one of his smirks and I wanted to break his perfect teeth so badly.

My gaze then drifted towards the man that I had just stabbed and to my utter and total shock, he was back up, standing as if nothing had ever happened.

"H-how?" I stammered.

"It's magic, Aura" Theron told me.

I looked at him in total disbelief, expecting him to burst into laughter but, he just stood their looking serious. Well, at least as serious as Theron could get.

A man with a megaphone in his hand then announced, "Next contestant!"

They threw Raymond into the courtyard. But before long, Raymond had also managed to defeat the man.

Finally, we were taken back to our prison cells to rest.

It's magic.

I believed it now. These were strange people with strange ways and of course I had seen mythical creatures that were not supposed to exist. That would explain everything I had seen up to now. Honestly, I had been just too closed minded to admit it.

A maid had come to take me somewhere, and for the first time it was a maid, not just another solider. She was taking me to Theron. I don't know why.

 I don't know why
