Chapter 1

"What more do you want from me!!" I screamed "You've taken everything, My brother, My family, My home!"

"What I want? Oh! What I want, is Revenge." He said, a look of pure rage growing, "What did I ever do to you?" I said. "Do you not remember? Years ago you killed my-"

I couldn't hear what else he said as I was being grabbed backwards.

"Sister?" I questioned, unable to make out her features in the dark shadows. "Yes it's me, I escaped!" She exclaimed, hugging me tightly. I smiled. Still in shock that she was back, maybe even for good....

Everything felt.. Right, just for a moment. A moment.

Something we don't get often anymore.

Felix is 6, It's still first person.

"Mom?" I questioned, walking around the palace. "Felix? Where are you honey?" She asked, walking down the stairs putting her earrings in. "Oh! There you are! You had me worried, I didn't see you throughout the day" She exclaimed.

"Don't worry mom, I was just busy in the gardens." I replied.

She sighed. "What am I gonna do about you, Your becoming a mini me." She chuckles and ruffles my hair.

I laugh. "What? The gardens are fun to take care of!"

Our conversation was sadly interrupted when Hades's voice boomed from the second floor. "Persephone? Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Sure honey, just saying bye to Felix!" She shouted back. Her voice echoing through the house. I smiled and hugged her tightly around her waist, too short to reach any higher. She made a 'mph' sound and chuckled as I buried my head in her dress.

"Don't worry Felix, we'll be back soon, only two hours or so.." she trailed off. "In the meantime, go explore the outside, I hear serious crimes haven't been committed in a month! You should be safe, and if not. Press the button on your necklace and we should be able to arrive shortly" She said.

"Ok!" I cheered, excited for the chance to explore. "Enjoy your movie!!"

I stumbled forwards, tripping over a stick, a large one at it. I managed to quickly manifest some sort of support in the spare seconds I had before face-planting on the ground.

"Close one.." I mumbled, standing up.

"So, What're you up to?" A woman asked walking towards me. "Me?" I questioned, before remembering nobody else was in the area. "Ye-" "Just exploring the area, Y'know looking for possible places to hide, dodge, etc" I blurted.

"Smart choice for someone of.. your age group" She said.
"Oh right! Yeah my mom says I'm rather smart for my age," I added. "Enlighten me, what's your name." She questioned.

"Felix, and you?" I said, cautiously. "Athena," the woman, now known as Athena said. "Oh, you remind me of the woman my mom works with." I said. "And who is your mom?" She asked. "Persephone.." I trailed off.

Her face morphed into one of shock. "Do you happen to live.. How to say, Underground?"

"If you're referring to the underworld, then yes. Yes I do." I said.

"Alright Felix, how would you like to be taught by the one and only Athena!!" She exclaimed. "Sure?" I replied.

That was a little forward..

"Ok, I can train you at 12:00 P.M. each day for an hour, you should get a greater knowledge of the world and better basic defense and all. I look forward to getting to know you, child." She said.

Once again, Forward.

"Alright, I guess that works." I replied. "Great see you then!" She added, before she flashed away. "Yeah..."
