Ponyboys pov:

The gang and i were just sitting in the living room doing what we normally do. Lilac was helping mom in the kitchen. Soda and steve were having an arm wrestle, two-bit was watching mickey mouse, dally was talking to johnny, darry and dad were in the backyard doing whatever they do and i was reading.

"Pony!" Johnny yelled and jumped next me. I got a tad bit startled and droped my book which startled everyone but darry and dad because their outside.

"Sorry-!" I laughed a little. "Yes johnny?" I pick up my book and looked at him.

"My parents are here." Johnny explained with a little bit of panic.

"THEIR WHAT?! WHO- WHO INVITED THEM?!" I yelled. Max looked at me(i forgot about max and alex guys-)

"Your mom did.." max muttered. Oh a little information about max, hes just like johnny but he hates dally, does that make sense? I dont think it does. Well why max hates dally is because dally is well dally. OH the best thing about today is that we get to see dallys little sister alex again! Shes only been here once. Shes actually surpriseing dally, im not sure how it'll go. Lets just hope it'll go good. Alex always surpises dally. He told me about it. And surpiseingly dallys been more cheerful, its a little odd but its nice.

"Hey johnny darling can you come help me and li- *ding dong* soda can you get the door please sweetie?" My mom asked

"I cant mom im about to beat steve in this arm wrestle-!" Soda answered sort of muttered.

"Dally please get the door" mom told dally. Dally knows not to back talk mom. (The gang is practically her children. Well three of us are. But you know what i mean) if dally even said  something slightly disrespectful mom will give him a look. Shes given soda that look before. It was funny seeing his reaction.

"Yes ma'am" dally nodded and got up then walked the other way. I swear he likes testing mom. Max rolled his eyes and opened the door to see...
