Abhimanyu stood on a stool, reaching up to fix a light bulb in the kitchen. Roohi played nearby, humming a tune to herself. Arohi , who arrived home now, watched from a distance, her mind preoccupied with Mukunda's threats. She forced herself to stay cold and distant, but the sight of Abhimanyu struggling with the bulb tugged at her heart.
As Abhimanyu twisted the bulb into place, the stool wobbled. Before he could steady himself, he lost his balance and fell, hitting his arm against the counter on the way down. He winced in pain, clutching his arm.
"Abhi!" Arohi's concern broke through her cold exterior as she rushed to his side. She knelt beside him, her hands gently examining his injured arm. "Are you okay? Does it hurt a lot?Who asked you to do all these things. Did you think I can't fix the bulb?Have you turned into a kid after the accident and lost your so called matured brain. You know you havent recovered completely and you chose to do these stunts.." she scolded him blatantly for his carelessness. she involuntarily ended up expressing her care for him.
Abhimanyu looked at her, surprised by the sudden warmth in her eyes and the tenderness in her touch. "I'll be fine, Arohi. It's just a bruise."
Ignoring his words, Arohi helped him up and guided him to a chair. She quickly fetched an ice pack and pressed it against his arm, her eyes filled with worry. "You should be more careful," she murmured, her voice soft and caring.
For a moment, Abhimanyu saw the real Arohi—the one who loved and cared for him deeply. He watched her fuss over him, her cold demeanor melting away. "Arohi, you don't have to—"
"Just stay still," she instructed, her voice firm but tender. she pressed the ice pack over the injured area.
For a moment, Arohi forgot everything else. Her focus was solely on Abhimanyu and making sure he was okay.
Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, everything else faded away. It was just the two of them, sharing an unspoken understanding. But then, as quickly as it had appeared, the warmth in Arohi's eyes vanished. She pulled away, her expression hardening as she remembered Mukunda's threats.
You should be more careful next time," she said curtly, standing up and stepping back. "I can't always be there to help you."
Abhimanyu's heart sank as he watched her retreat, the mask of cold indifference slipping back into place. He longed to reach out to her, to break through the walls she had built around herself, but he knew something deeper was troubling her.
"Thank you, Arohi," he said softly, hoping to convey his gratitude and concern. "I'll be more careful."
Arohi nodded, avoiding his gaze. "Good," she replied tersely before turning away, her heart aching with the weight of the secret she carried.

moments later, when roohi was sitting in the dining room near the window, arohi again noticed a laser light. She went to the balcony nearest to the window and found a man pointing a gun towards roohi. Arohi's heart arouse heavily.
her phone had a notification.
"Remember, if you shower love to get closer to abhimanyu, you'll loose roohi-mukunda", a message from an unknown private number.
How could arohi report these incidents to the police. The message got deleted the very next second she read it. The number was private and had no proof that mukunda was threatning her.
she replied," I won't ...I won't go near abhimanyu. Please I beg you. ask your men to remove roohi from the focus."
"Thats like behaving how i want." mukunda replied.
