"Matashree! Avi is trying to lift his dumbbells..." Roohi shouted loudly, complaining to her mother, who was busy in an online meeting.

Abhimanyu, who was sneakily attempting to lift his dumbbells to test if his stamina had returned, quickly put them down as he heard Roohi shouting.

"Hooo, how loudly she shouts... I'll be in trouble if Arohi comes and sees this," Abhimanyu muttered, picking up the fallen dumbbell and signaling Roohi to be quiet while he returned it to its place.

"What happened? What mishap have you both done again?" Arohi asked sternly as she entered Abhimanyu's room. She hadn't heard what Roohi had said as she was wearing headphones during her meeting.

Roohi chuckled as she saw the way abhimanyu got scared. Arohi definitely did take care of him during his recovery but he also got a hell amount of scolding for his mischiefs that he would do . commiting atleast one mistake a day became an inevitable duty for him. He wouldn't sleep otherwise.

"Nothing, Matashree... We were just laughing and ended up talking loudly. You go and continue," Roohi said, asking Arohi to leave and giving a naughty smirk to Abhimanyu, showing her triumph at proving he was scared of her Matashree. The previous day, Roohi had claimed to Abhimanyu that he was scared of Matashree, but he refused to accept it. She challenged him that she would prove it soon, and here it was.

Madam Roohi cutely stuck one palm on her waist and pointed a finger at Abhi like a teacher. Trying to wink, she scolded, "Forget the challenge...but Avi, you aren't supposed to do these things. Aap bacche ho kya? Even a small child would follow the rules when he/she is ill. You will become even weaker. Then it will take more time for you to gain your superpowers! Matashree told me everything."

Abhimanyu laughed at Roohi's words.

"Chup! Sit down first..." she silenced him.

"Oh...okay...okay...cool down, Roohi Devi..." Abhimanyu said and sat on his bed.

"Wait a minute...haan, dare you move from this place," she warned him and went to the kitchen.

She came back with a small cup in her hands. "Now, without showing tantrums, drink this!" Abhimanyu was surprised by the act of this small kid bringing him soup.

"Avi!" she called him to take the soup. He was still startled. "You made this?" he asked.

"Uffo, I didn't make it...you are imagining too much. Don't you have a brain? Or did you lose it in the accident? How do you expect a small kid to cook soup? Matashree made it. I just heated it in the oven and brought it to you." Abhimanyu was amused. How does she talk endlessly? he wondered.

"Now, you won't even drink it yourself...wait, wait...I'll feed you myself," she said, sitting on the bed. Her height made it difficult to get on it with the soup in her hand. Abhimanyu lifted her and made her sit.

"Haan haan... Ok, meri maa!" Abhimanyu clapped, joining his palms and bowing in front of her with a sarcastic expression.

As Roohi blew on the soup to cool it with each spoon she fed him, Abhimanyu was lost in his thoughts, admiring his Rooh.

I really wish you were my daughter, Rooh. I wish we three were a family. I love you the same way I love Abhir. I love you both more than anything. Abhir would feed Abhinav Ji the same way. I have no idea about your feelings for me, Rooh. But I wish this and regret you not being my daughter. You are the light that paved the way for me during the darkest times of my life. You brought colors to my life. Thank you, Rooh...
