Third Persons POV:

"Uh... Hey, Uzi? Can we talk for a sec?" N asked as he walked into the room. Uzi was completely absorbed in her phone and music, her headphones blocking out the world around her. She didn't notice him at all. N realized this and reached out to tap her shoulder. Just as his hand was about to touch her, Uzi saw him out of the corner of her eye.

Startled, she jumped and let out a small scream, almost falling off her chair. "AAH!" She screamed. "Uzi! Are you alright?" N asked, his face full of concern. He hadn't meant to scare her, and now he was worried he might have upset her. "Bite me! I'm fine," Uzi snapped, quickly regaining her composure.

She crossed her arms and turned away, a blush creeping up her cheeks. She felt a mix of annoyance and embarrassment at being caught off-guard by N. N chuckled softly, finding her reaction somewhat cute. "Sorry, Uzi. Didn't mean to scare you." N says. "It's whatever," Uzi muttered.

Uncrossing her arms and taking off her headphones. She set them aside and looked at N with curiosity. "So, uh, what's up? You need something?"Uzi asked. "Oh, right," N said, his nervousness making him fidget slightly. "I just wanted to talk to you about something." Uzi raised an eyebrow.

"About what? Is something wrong?" N hesitated, his mind racing. He hadn't thought this far ahead. "Oh—uh, nothing's wrong! I just... I wanted to ask if you like anyone," he blurted out, instantly regretting his choice of words. It wasn't what he had meant to say, but now it was out there.

Uzi blushed, taken aback by the question. Her mind flooded with thoughts. 'Does he like someone? Is he trying to imply something? Why is he asking me this?' She felt her face getting hotter and tried to compose herself. "Uzi? You okay?" N asked, noticing her distraction. She shook her head quickly, snapping back to the present.

"I'm fine! Bite me!" Uzi yells. "Alright, alright... So?" N asked, waiting for her answer with a mixture of hope and dread. Uzi hesitated, then looked at him with wide eyes. "I, uh—Thad! That's right! I like Thad," she lied, her voice wavering. She didn't know why she said it, but it was the first name that came to mind.

N's heart sank, but he forced a smile and gave her a thumbs up. "That's... great, Uzi. Awesome." Feeling guilty for lying, Uzi decided to turn the question back on him. "What about you? Do you like anyone?" N stammered, "I—uh—don't exactly like anyone in particular... But—uh—V." He lied, feeling stupid for not being honest.

He hoped she might catch his drift, that his feelings had shifted. Uzi wasn't surprised by his answer, but both of them felt a pang of sadness and frustration at their mutual dishonesty. "Oh, right. You've already told me that." Uzi says, remembering the first time they had met. "Riight," N echoed, the awkwardness settling between them.

He decided it was best to leave. "Well... I should probably get going..." He turned to leave, but Uzi grabbed his hand. "Wait!" She quickly let go, blushing furiously. "I, uh, want you to stay... please?" she asked shyly. N's eyes lit up in surprise. "Uzi..." His expression softened into a gentle smile. "Fine, fine. I'll stay." Uzi beamed.

She patted the spot beside her on the bed, inviting him to sit. N hesitated but then sat down carefully beside her. An awkward silence filled the room, each of them unsure what to say next. Uzi noticed his hands resting on the bed and felt an urge to hold his hand. She moved her hand closer to his, but not quite touching.

Uzi looked away to distract herself. N, trying to think of something to say, noticed her hand near his. He blushed and moved his hand slightly closer to hers. Feeling the movement, Uzi turned towards him, and their eyes met. Both became embarrassed, mumbling apologies and chuckling nervously.

After a few moments, Uzi gathered her courage and gently placed her hand on his. N looked at her in surprise and confusion. "I, uh—is this... okay?" she asked, worried she might have crossed a line. N smiled softly, his blush deepening. "Yeah, it's fine." He felt a flicker of hope that she might like him back. But he kept his mouth shut.
