What if... Lucy had a secret daughter and never told anyone

Backstory:
Ellie (Lucy's daughter) is 5 and Lucy has been working in the lapd for 4 years. The only people who know about Ellie are Angela (she figured it out on her own) and Jackson before he passed. Lucy already went on her first date with Tim, and she is currently 29. She gave birth to Ellie right before she joined the academy and kept it a secret the whole time.

Lucy woke up on Tuesday and heard her phone ringing. "Hello?" She says over the phone with a tired voice. "Hey Luce, good morning." Tim says from over the phone. "Hey, good morning." Lucy says sitting up from her bed." "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a second date. I was thinking tomorrow?" Tim asks. "Sure, yea I would love that." She responds starting to freak out. "Great. I'll see you at work then." Tim says. "Ok see you." Lucy says and hangs up. She gets ready to call Angela but it's almost time for her to wake Ellie up so she doesn't.

"Good morning sleepy bones. Are you excited for schooo?" Lucy says opening her door, going into her room. "Mummy can I just stay home today please. I'm tired." Ellie says. "I know baby, but soon it will be Friday and the weekend. You can do it baby." Lucy says. "Only if we have pancakes for breakfast!" Ellie says smiling. "Ok Elle bell deal. Now let's get you dressed." Lucy says going into her closet. "No mummy. I can do it on my own. You go make pancakes." Ellie says sitting in her bed"Are you sure you can do it by yourself?" Lucy asks her. "Yes mummy, I'm a big girl." "Ok then big girl." Lucy says and sets out Ellie's clothes on her bed and goes off to make pancakes.

"Elle bell, pancakes are done." Lucy calls from the kitchen to Ellie's room. "Mummy help, I'm stuck." Lucy looks at Ellie with her dress on and both legs in one side of her tights. "Here baby. I'll help you." Lucy says laughing. Ellie gets dressed and Lucy puts her on a stool in the kitchen. Ellie eats her pancakes and Lucy looks at the clock and it is 8:30. "Where your pancakes good?" Lucy asks Ellie. "Yes mummy thank you so much." "Your so welcome baby. Now go brush your teeth for school. It's almost time to go." Lucy says getting Ellies coat and backpack ready.

"Come on Elle bell. It's time to go." Ellie comes out the bathroom and gets her coat and backpack on. "Come on mummy. Your going to make me late." "Okay let's go." Lucy says following her out the door. Lucy dropped Ellie off at school 10 minutes before 9 (when Ellie's school starts) then Lucy heads to work. She arrives the same time as Tim and they walk in together.

"Why are you getting here so late?" Tim asks Lucy. "Oh, I just woke up late." Lucy says knowing she didn't. "Are you excited for our date tonight?" Tim asks Lucy. "Yea I am, but I have to tell you something." Lucy says. "Ok ofc what is it." Tim says "Lucy come here, I need you for a case now that your finally here." Angela calls at Lucy. "Oh sorry I'll tell you later." Lucy says to Tim and walks over to Angela.

"Hey, how is Elle bell. I haven't seen her in so long?" Angela asks. "Hey, she's good. Considering that you haven't seen her in a bit can you baby sit for me tomorrow please? Me and Tim have a second date planned." Lucy asks. "Ofc, Jack loves when Ellie comes over." Angela tells Lucy. "Thank you so much!! Your a life saver." Lucy says to Angela. Lucy and Angela's case only takes half and hour then Lucy changes into her patrol uniform and Lucy and Tim go out on patrol. Their morning is pretty slow, only one robbery case and that takes them into lunch.

Lucy and Tim sit at a table with Angela since Nyla took the day off. "Hey Ange how was your morning?" Lucy and Tim ask her. "Crazy like always. How was your?" Angela says. "Pretty good." Lucy and Tim say. "Lucky you." Angela says. Lucy's phone rings and she sees that it is Ellie's school calling. "Sorry, I have to take this. I'll be back." Lucy says walking away from the table. "I wonder who that is?" Tim says to Angela. "I'm not sure." Angela says thinking it might be Ellie's school.

"Hello." Lucy says over the phone. "Yes this is she. Is everything okay?" Lucy continues. "WHAT? Is she okay?" "I will be there in 5-10 minutes. Make sure they don't leave without me. Thank you." Lucy says looking panicked. "ANGELA. COME NOW!! WE NEED TO GO!!!!" Lucy yells. Angela runs over to her car and Tim follows. "There was a fire at Ellie's schools and she was burned. We need to go." Lucy whispers so Tim doesn't hear. "Ok I'll drive. Tim I'll call you soon." Angela says. "But what's happening?" Tim asks so confused. "I wil tell you later." Angela says speeding away.

"What if she's unconscious Ange. I can't do this. I'm so scared." Lucy says freaking out. "Luce you can't think like that. She will be fine. I promise." Angela says trying to comfort Lucy. They arrive in 5 minutes and Lucy jumps out of the car and runs up to Ellie's teacher. "Where is she?" Lucy asks. "Over there at the ambulance." The teacher says. Lucy runs over to where she sees Bailey at the ambulance and Angela follows. "Bailey! How is she." Lucy asks as Angela comes up behind Lucy. "She stable, but has some burns. We're not sure how bad they are yet. How do you know her?" Bailey asks. "Omg. Bailey she's my daughter. Don't say anything, not now, just let me in the ambulance." Lucy says. "Ofc Luce. I'm so sorry." Bailey says. "I will meet you at the hospital." Angela says to Lucy.
