What if... Lucy had a secret daughter and never told anyone

Part 2

The ambulance arrives at the hospital and they rush Ellie off to surgery. Lucy sits crying in the waiting room and Angela arrives. "Hey Luce, how is she?" Angela asks. "I don't know she's in surgery." Lucy says still crying. "Please don't call Tim yet. I don't want to face him yet. I want you to tell him when he comes later. Lucy managed to get out. "Ok I will call him when you go back to Ellie's room so your not out here when he comes in." Angela says trying to comfort me.

"Thanks Ange." Lucy says hugging her. "I'm going to go call Grey." Angela tell Lucy. "Ok. I'm going to try to sleep I think." Lucy says. "Hey sarge me and Lucy are at the hospital now and Tim will be coming in a couple hours when I call him. Lucy wants him to come later." Angela says over the phone. "Ok me and Luna are on the way. We want to come so don't tell us we don't have to." Grey says. "Ok sir. See you soon." Angela responds.

A few hours go by and it is now 12 am. A doctor comes out and Angela wakes up Lucy. "The family of Ellie Chen?" The doctor says. "Yea here." Angel says. "Who is her mom?" The doc asks. "Me and she's the aunt. What's going on?" Lucy says scared. "There was a minor complication during the surgery but she is stable and will make a full recovery. She will wake up in the morning." The doc says. "Thank you! Can we see her now?" Angela says. "Yes room 213." The doc says and walks away.

"Go ahead and go back there Luce. I will stay here and call Tim and wait for Grey and Luna." Angela says sitting down. "Ok thanks." Lucy says running back to Ellie's room. Grey and Luna arrive and they talk to Angela. "Hey, how is Lucy and Ellie, right." Grey asks. "Yea, she is stable and will fully recover and Lucy is with her now, very emotional and upset though." Angela says. "Well we will head out but tell Lucy we're thinking about her." Luna says. "Ok I will thanks for stopping by." Angela says and sits waiting for Tim.

Lucy is sitting in Ellie's room next to her bed crying holding Ellie's hand. Tim arrives in the waiting room with Angela. "Where is she. Is she okay. What happened?" Tim asks Angela. "Well, Lucy is fine physically but mentally no. She is so emotional." Angela says to Tim. "Well why is she here?" Tim asks. "Well, she is here because her daughter. No one knows about her and Lucy hid it. She was going to tell you today but wanted me to tell you now." Angela says. "Omg, what's her daughters name?" Tim asks. "Ellie. They are in room 213. Lucy wants you to go see her." Angela tells Tim. "Ok. Thanks." Tim goes back to the room and sees Lucy crying next to Ellie's bed and holding her hand.

Lucy doesn't notice Tim at first and when she does she wipes her tears from her cheeks. "I'm so sorry Tim. I was going to tell you today." Lucy cries. "It's okay. I know. You don't have to say anything. It's fine." Tim says and goes and hugs Lucy. "When will she wake up. Her names Ellie right?" Tim says. "Yea and in the morning she will wake up." Lucy says snuggling her face into Tim's chest. "It's okay. She will be okay." Tim says comforting Lucy. "Thanks." Lucy says as Tim puts her in his lap and stokes her hair until she falls asleep. After Lucy falls asleep so does Tim.

Angela comes back to the room to check on Lucy and Ellie and sees Tim and Lucy sleeping together and smilies at them. Lucy wakes up and looks at Angela and gets up. "Hey, what time is it?" Lucy asks Angela. "It's 8 am. The doctor will come in a few minutes, I just called for them." Angela continues while hugging Lucy. "She will be okay." Angela finishes. "Thank you so much. For everything." Lucy  cries into Angela's shoulder. "Ofc, you and Ellie are like family to me." Angela says softly smiling at Lucy.

"I have to go but call me when she wakes up and when you get home or if you need anything. I will come back to surprise her when she's awake." Angela says at the door of Ellie's room. "Ok I will, thanks so much again." Lucy says and sits back down and Tim stands next to her. "I'm going to go find a doctor, can you stay with her. I don't want her to be alone." Lucy says to Tim. "Yea ofc." Tim says and sits down. Lucy comes back in with a doctor. "When is she going to wake up? Is she okay?" Lucy asks and Tim grabs her hand to stop her from panicking. "Yea, she is okay. She should wake up anytime now." The doctor says and leaves.

"Thank god, she is okay." Lucy says. "Should I be in here when she wakes up or should I leave?" Tim asks Lucy. "Umm.. you can stay but she doesn't know you so I don't know how she will react." Lucy says to Tim. "Ok. If I need you leave just let me know." Tim says supportively. Lucy is pacing back and forth in Ellie's hospital room waiting for her to wake up. "Luce do you want to come sit down?" Tim asks Lucy walking over to her. "No im fine. I-I can't sit down right now until she wakes up." Lucy says.

"Mommy." Ellie says waking up. "Hi baby. How do you feel." Lucy says running over and sitting next to Ellie's bed. "I'm tired mommy." Ellie says looking at Lucy. "I know Elle bell it's okay." Lucy says and hugs Ellie but Ellie looks over and sees Tim. "AHHHHH!! MOMMY GET HIM OUT. MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY." Ellie screams and starts crying. Lucy looks around and she sees a Tim standing behind her. "Tim can you go wait in the waiting room and call Angela please." Lucy says hugging Ellie. "Yea sure." Tim says and leaves. "Mommy, he scared me." Ellie says wiping her tears. "I know Elle bell, it's okay." Lucy says.

"Elle bell, that was Tim." Lucy says. "You mean the Tim that you always talk about on the phone to auntie Angela?" Ellie says smiling. "I didn't know you were listening but yes, that Tim." Lucy says laughing. "I'm sorry I was so mean. I just got scared." Ellie says to Lucy. "Oh Ellie, you don't have to be sorry. It's not your fault. I'm sure Tim will understand when I tell him." Lucy says to Ellie. "There's my Elle bell. How are you sweetie?" Angela says coming in. "Hi auntie Angela!!" Ellie says so excited.
