mason's pov
my parents arrived outside hayley's house as i texted her to come out.
we were driving her to the airport cause both her and i were getting a flight to london, then getting a connection flight to ireland the next day.
a whole day in london together. and we were gonna be alone.
both our parents had decided 'oh, you're both 16 it's fine' cause they no longer have to chaperone us when we're filming.
i saw hayley rush out her front door, lugging one large suitcase behind her and her backpack slung over her shoulder.
i jumped out the car and jogged towards her front porch, grabbing the heavy suitcase off of her.
"hey." i greeted, pulling her in for a quick hug.
"hi, mase." she accepted the hug and we both pulled away, not wanting to miss our flight.
we rushed to the car and i loaded her suitcase into the car as she climed in the middle seat beside brooke, who wanted to come say goodbye, and i sat in the seat beside hayley.
"ah! hayley, i missed you!" brooke swung her arms around hayley in a dramatic hug as she chuckled.
"brooke, i missed you too!" hayley said, reciprocating the hug she received from my sister.
"you guys saw each other last week." i pointed out, chuckling at their behaviour.
"a week is too long, mason." hayley said and we all started laughing.
in no time we arrived the LAX airport and we all got out the car.
i grabbed our bags from the trunk with my dad whilst my mom and sister gave hayley some goodbye hugs.
i joined them and we all said our goodbye's before hayley and i left to board our flight.
"here, you take my suitcase. it's lighter than yours." i offered and hayley smiled, blushing slightly.
"are you sure?" she asked me and i nodded, "thanks, mase."
"right, come on." i led her through customs and we made it to the gate. we found a starbucks and got one before waiting for the gate to open.
once we had boarded the plane, we put our backpacks in the overhead storage and sat down in our seats.
the divider was down between our seats and i soon felt a weight drop on my shoulders. hayley had fallen asleep.
i'll admit, it made me blush a little. i realised i liked hayley after we had to do the kiss in the black phone. but i've just never had the courage to ask her out on a proper date yet. although, my plan is to ask her out for dinner when we get to london and see how that goes.
but for now, i joined her in sleep, resting my head on top of hers.
