once we had landed in London, we checked into our hotel for the night and got settled in.
"hayl's?" mason asked me from his seat on my bed.
"yeah?" i answered back, trying to find my pyjamas.
"would you maybe wanna go out for dinner, tonight?" he sounded nervous and i slightly blushed at the question, but i pushed it down, not wanting to read too much into the signs.
i smiled at him, "yeah, of course. do you want me to look somewhere up? how about we go to highgate and i can show you my old house and stuff?"
fun fact about me, i was born here. i lived in london until i was 13 and we moved to start my acting career after the black phone.
"yeah, is it close to here? maybe we could walk?" mason asked me, standing and grabbing some clothes from his suitcase.
"no, we'll have to get the tube." i also start rummaging through my suitcase again.
"what are you wearing?" he asks me as i pull out a black crop top and a mini skirt.
"this." i hold it up for him to see and mason nods. he pulls out a black button t-shirt and some baggy jeans.
"i'll change in the bathroom so i can do my makeup, just shout me when you're ready." i tell him, closing the door behind me.
i throw the outfit on, put a bit of makeup on and put my white sambas on.
i knock on the door, waiting for a reply from mason, "i'm ready!" he shouts and i exit the room, coming face to face with him.
"wow." he says, "you look amazing."
i blush and let out a small giggle, "thank you. you look great."
"thank you." he looks down towards his feet.
i grab my leather jacket. i throw my phone and lipgloss into a small shoulder bag and mason grabs the room key and my hand, dragging me out the hotel room.
we wander towards the tube station and take it up to highgate.
when we arrive, i show him my old house, the small local theatre and my old school, before we reach a cute little italian place.
we make our way inside and get seated down.
the night was so nice. both of us blushing at each others remarks. although, i don't want to get ahead of myself, but i really like mason.
