Chapter 3

-Damia-xan I think I found a way for us to be together.

-Don't tell me, we're going to run away and disappear?

-Very funny Dami, but no, I'm going to make my sisters fall in love and then you and I will be free to be together, that's what you want too, isn't it...? I said with my heart beating a thousand beats per hour.

Soon Dami started laughing with me but soon after the sweet sound of her laughter the rain came so seeing my dear Dami soaking wet and after a few reminders fruit of my concern for him, we said goodbye and I ran back to my home, after all it's better they don't get suspicious. I ran through the large wildflower meadows like a swift and agile gazelle, ran to a small visitor's hut on one side of the palace and got under cover. Then I turned around and found my Dami still standing in the same place with a big smile.

- "You look very beautiful my beloved!!!" - he shouted to me from over there I felt my heart racing and I shook my head so he wouldn't shout anymore or someone might hear, he smiled at me and turned around before running away and it's just as they say "The Lord of Ventix runs as fast as the breeze and his feet are as light as air, it's almost as if he flies" I said to myself softly admiring Dami.

-Goodbye my dear Dami" - I said to myself and after a while I ran the last kilometers as fast as I could until I reached the side entrance of the Starlux Palace.

Inside I finally started to warm up but I was still soaking wet so I hurriedly headed for the diamond stairs leading to the second floor and just around the corner I noticed my brother was there. I quickly hid behind the wall then I saw Belia one of my maids and my best friend.

-Pssst Pssst Pssst Pssst" - the third time she looked at me again and turned pale and almost screamed but I made signs to her which she misunderstood and instead of pushing my brother away she called out to him.

-Your Highness Prince Ambrose!!!"

- "Yes? What is it Belia?...Nova!"

Before my brother could shout anything else I covered his mouth and begged him to be quiet. He nodded and I let him go.

-Nova - he whispered - what happened to you?

-I decided to take a bath with my clothes on and then walk the halls," I said sarcastically, "don't you know how hot it is?

- "Hot in the middle of winter?" - said the great academic prince of Starlux without understanding my sarcasm.

- "No, I got soaked in the rain bro and I was being sarcastic in my previous comment in case you didn't notice" - I said whispering and starting to shiver from the cold - "help me get to my room and I'll give you my dessert tomorrow" I said making puppy dog eyes trying to evoke tenderness.

- "Alright, I'll help you but I don't want dessert just an explanation after you've warmed up" -I was going to refuse but the cold was unbearable so I nodded quickly

"Your room is on the third floor so I will distract the others by calling them to my room and when you hear my father say my full name run to your room"-I wanted to ask why father would call him by his full name but he ran off upstairs before I could ask and a couple of minutes later....

That was the signal I ran quickly followed by Belia and we entered my room. I asked her to run me a hot bath which she did immediately and then left the room. I took off my soaked blue dress and stepped into the bath tub with hot water and felt my body relax. After the bath I put on a new change of dry clothes and went out into the hallway but I was not prepared for the scene in front of me....
