14 • Some Forest Shenanigans

~~RUBY POV~~

"AAAAAAAAAAA-" I place my hand over my mouth as I stop my running, going behind a tree in a forest.

I hear nothing, but I keep waiting for something to happen.

I keep waiting,

--and waiting,

..and waiting...

I realize something, instantly uncovering my mouth. 𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵, 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦...𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭?

Then suddenly, my mind sparkled something.

...I don't feel, nor hear, nor 'etc' any-object or anyone.

I stop hiding myself behind the tree, looking around the area.

"Ruby? Bubble? Fanny? Anyone there?" I speak, but no response comes.

"FANNY? BUBBLE?" I speak more loudly.

"..RUBY?"

...and the only sound I can hear after my shouts is my breathing.

𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦...

I begin to glance around, squinting my eyes.

I can't see any-object other then non-sentient trees, leaves, grass, sticks.. you name it.

*𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩...* I sit down against the tree I hid behind. There's no need to hide anymore...

Not when Ruby 2.0 isn't here...

I notice that my eyes are starting to tear up. Just for a simple object?.. someone that...doesn't even exist?...

I mean--mirrors.. reflections.. 'talking to myself' times...BUT it could also be Bubble or Fanny,

..or simply just the fact that I'm.. currently alone...

My thoughts get cut off by the sound of.. rustling bushes nearby..?

I look over the tree I was sitting against, looking to the side. Yep, there's a bush that is slightly moving...for some reason.

I look to the sky, and it's...NOT windy..

..so I guess I'm...NOT alone?

...

Well I mean, it can't be that bad to make a friend, right? Especially when you're lonely...

I hesitantly stand up, then I begin to carefully walk towards the bush that was rustling earlier.

Just a couple feet away from the bush, I stop walking as I see the bush rustling again.

Rustling...violently.

..uh, very violently.

Then a spark of red suddenly came to the front of my vision.

It took about a second before I made out what it was...

Evil Leafy.

I gasp, before immediately pushing myself to run as fast as I can while screaming.

I run, and run, and run. I can sense myself slowly getting a bit dizzy.

I go so fast that my vision gets blurry, so now I'm just running...to a random somewhere...

I feel myself face down on grassy surface, my vision being blocked and black by so.
