8 • Apple Run Away

~~RUBY 2.0 POV~~

I suddenly feel wind fall onto me for a split second before falling to the floor, seeing Match, as if she charged at me. I very soon notice that she has that same face, scary red eyes and crooked smile from last time... this CAN'T be good.

I try to pull her off me but she's 𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘩, too strong! Trying to fight her off me, something I can't 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 see but can see in the corner of my eye is MR(Mirror Ruby) trying to help me, trying to pull or push 'Match' off me.

Still trying to get back my place, 'Match' punches my forehead with her fist, making it crack little bit. I yelp in pain as response. As I did so, she smiled. She was already smiling, but now smiling wider, her smile still crooked.

In a quick second, 'Match' isn't on me anymore. I don't see her, nor feel her. Instead, I see her flying slightly with the wind, her backside smashing onto another wall in the room. MR looks out of breath... did she just....yank 'Match' off me?

A bit exhausted from the things that happened so fast, I use both of my hands, land them on the floor and pull myself up, sitting up from the floor. I feel slightly dizzy from the sudden situation, holding my head with one of my hands.

I see MR(Mirror Ruby) offering me a hand. I take it, and she pulls me up from the floor. Once she does, she asks, "Are you okay?" In a worried voice. "..Yeah, uhh, thanks..." "I'm glad. But now, we don't have time--" MR glances at 'Match', "--since the so-called 'Match' is still on the loose. C'mon, let's go." She grabs my hand and runs out of the room, quickly dragging me away.

She stops running once she was in the middle of the room, panting while holding onto her knees, letting go of my hand. Oh gemstone, that felt like less than a second...

The room was still dark. Still having my fabulous flashlight with me, I turn it on. As she was panting and breathing on her knees, I--slightly dizzily, look around our surroundings.

I look at the bedroom, seeing 'Match' just through the doorframe, getting ready to charge at us. I panic at this, immediately looking at the front door of the house. Both me and MR left it open, so...it's still open. Immediate response from me is quickly holding onto MR's wrist, and quickly flying off out the door.

As soon as we reached the outside, I hold onto the doorknob of the front door and close it. The fact it's not locked scares me, so I just push the back of my body against the door as much as possible, hoping it will prevent 'Match' from getting outside to get us.

As I do so, I soon see MR slowly looking at me, seeming a bit dizzy too. "Woah, w--what just happened there?" "MATCH WAS ABOUT TO GET US! I had to get us somewhere safe.." I say, in a somewhat hurried and worried voice, with sweat on my sides.

MR looks around, seeing that I am pushing the front door with my back, and seeing the outside, and other stuff at this area.

I feel someone at the other side of the door trying to open it, "HELP ME!" I blurt out. "With what?" "THE DOOR!!" "Oh, right!" As I said, she quickly went to the door and pushed our bodies against it, trying to prevent 'Match' from opening it.

Soon, it feels like we've been doing this for an entire minute now, and that we are not pushing the door closed as strong as when we started. I ignored it, but I don't think MR did...

"Ruby, I don't think we'll be able to do this much longer.. I think we might have to make a run for it.." I pay attention more, noticing that.. yeah, that would most definitely be true. I was hesitant to say it for a bit, but I soon say.. "...okay."

As soon as I say it, she grabbed my wrist and flung the both of us off the door, dragging me while running quickly. She's too fast, I can't tell where she's gonna run to. I don't bother to think about it much since I'm getting kinda dizzy from the very fast motion.
