Not as fake as it seems-Chapter 14

Author's Note: And with this, the Halloween festival arc is coming to an end. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter as much as I did, be ready for the next one.

~In Izuku's room~ 10:07 AM

"It's a bit odd to be using our hero uniform as Halloween costumes but it's whatever" Midoriya shrugged as he looked at himself in the mirror. Today was a big day, it was the day the two would be 'confessing' to each other. He was scared, but it wasn't real. It was all fake, the relationship, the whole flirting, maybe even their friendship wasn't real. What if Momo never even cared for Midoriya and she just wanted to see Todoroki jealous? The thought of that disturbed him. Even though he agreed to the 'no falling in love' thing, he felt a tiny slither of hope that this whole thing wasn't fake.

*Knock Knock*

Midoriya jumped up at the sound of knocking at his door. "Come in!" he shouted as he stared at the door. It slowly opened to reveal Iida and Tokoyami. That was right... he had stayed up till midnight talking with the group about his past... everything from middle school and up. It's not like he wanted to, but it was obvious that the two would keep pressuring him and Momo about it. "Hey guys" Midoriya spoke while fixing up his hair. "Yo" Tokoyami let out, sitting down on Midoriya's bed while Iida simply stood up. "So... do you think that Kendo-San hates your guts?" Tokoyami raised an eyebrow. Midoriya froze at the question "Wow, no 'how are you'? 'How's it going'?" Midoriya sighed but quickly chuckled afterward.

"I can't blame him. The whole thing is surprising, I mean our class president used to be a delinquent... and gained his manhood already" Iida explained. "Yes, I know. It's not that serious, Kendo and I had that kind of relationship and now we don't. It's whatever" Midoriya shrugged. "IT'S WHATEVER? I LITERALLY HAVE NEVER HUGGED A GIRL LET ALONE KISSED ONE?" Iida yelled. "Iida calm down, I've never kissed Kendo if that makes you feel any better," Midoriya said. "So you did the 'thing' with her but never kissed...? You and her were animals" Tokoyami shivered at the thought. "I don't want to think about it. I like to think that we were never together in the first place. I mean I feel bad that she had to date someone like me so it's best if we both just forget" Deku explained as he put the comb down on his dresser. "I guess that's for the best. Let's just hope that she feels the same way and doesn't have a grudge against you" Iida added. "Yeah... a grudge..." Midoriya whispered. "I hope I can talk to her again and we can get this whole thing past us," he thought.

"Anywho, you guys ready to roll out!?" Iida smiled as Tokoyami looked disgusted. "Please do not ever say that again," he mumbled. Iida's smile on his face slowly turned into a frown as he sighed. "Yeah I'm ready, let's head out to class. The rest of the class should be getting ready while the other student council members should be in class already." Midoriya spoke. The two nodded as they walked out of Midoriya's room and to the UA building with all the classes.

Eventually, they made it to their classroom, and now remodeled 'restaurant'. They walked in and saw a familiar group of students... two familiar groups of students. "Huh?" Midoriya mumbled as he walked in. Three of 2-B's student council members were in their room for some odd reason. "Oh! There you are Midoriya, we were waiting for you." Ibara walked up to the green-haired boy eagerly as the rest of the members followed. This included Kendo... "Midoriya there's great news apparently" Mineta smiled as he popped up behind Ibara. "I totally forgot you were a part of the council now" Tokoyami raised an eyebrow. "Oh shut up" Mineta rolled his eyes. "Boys, calm down" Momo appeared on the side of Midoriya as Iida and Tokoyami decided to sit down with Kaminari. "So? What's the great news?" Midoriya looked at the three 2-B students. "Well-" Ibara was instantly interrupted by her secretary "Due to the immense amount of money we made from the first day of the festival, we have enough funds for other events. Our money is covered for the rest of the year" Yui Kodai mumbled. "I was going to say that" Ibara sighed but her happy attitude returned quickly. "That's amazing" Midoriya grinned. He turned his face to Momo but she was occupied... for some odd reason, Kendo and her were giving each other a stare-down. This made Izuku shiver as he looked back at Ibara. "Anyway, we're having a celebration party hosted by the 2-B student council. We're planning on having it on Friday this week, we'll text you the information to tell your class." Ibara smiled. "Alright cool, thanks for letting us know" Midoriya smiled as Ibara nodded. The President and Secretary walked out of the classroom, and Kendo made her way out as well, passing by Midoriya. "This... this is the perfect time to talk to her," he thought. Momo noticed the look on his face and smiled. "Do your best President" she slightly pushed him out of the classroom. "Thanks..." he mumbled, walking out.
