The start of a grave mistake-Chapter 16

~Momo's room/Friday~ 12:21 PM

"Calm down Momo, I think you look fine" Jirou sighed, sitting on the edge of Momo's bed. "Jirou's right, girl you're the prettiest student in our grade next to Midobabe. You don't need to worry about stuff like this" Mina said, adjusting the ribbon on the back of Momo's hair. "Y-You both think so?" Momo questioned her beauty. "Aren't you aiming to be a model anyway Yaoyorozu? If you don't have the confidence, the model industry will eat you alive." Jirou raised an eyebrow. "Seriously!? You want to become a model?" Mina yelled in shock. "Shh Mina... I don't really want anyone to know. You five are the only ones that do" Momo whispered. "Us five?" Jirou raised an eyebrow before smirking. "Including Midori, correct?" Mina responded. Momo simply blushed and nodded. "Including Izuku and Uwabami... and her." Momo whispered the last part which they didn't hear.

"Well, I believe you can do it Momo. Just stay confident and don't trust anyone without getting Midoriya's thoughts on it" Mina gave Momo a thumbs up before turning her body to the mirror. "And our thoughts too!" Jirou butted in. Momo smiled at her best friends before looking at herself in the glass reflection in front of her. "See you're beautiful girl" Mina grinned. "I-I guess you're right," Momo said, a bit unsure. "Now let's go to the common room and see who else is ready!" Mina exclaimed and grabbed the hands of her friends, running down the flights of stairs.

~With Midoriya~

"You guys ready?" Midoriya looked at his friends. They were the only ones in the common room besides Kirishima. Everyone else was out getting suits and dresses for 2-B's party, or some were just sitting in their rooms not planning to go. He didn't want to go to a celebration party on his day off... but that was one of his duties as President. "2-B's party starts at like five dude..." Kirishima groaned, scratching his hair. "I mean the student council has to be there at three so you don't have to worry about it Kirishima. You're fine" Midoriya responded, sitting on the couch next to the front door. "Thank god" the red-haired boy walked to the kitchen and started to pour a bowl of cereal. "You think I look good Midoriya?" Kaminari adjusted his bowtie. "You look fine Kaminari, I'm sure Jirou will think so too" Midoriya gave Kaminari a shove which made him all flustered.

"I personally think that girl's opinions are pointless... and so is this party" Tokoyami rolled his eyes. "This party is crucial! All student council members have to attend!" Iida pointed his hands at Tokoyami which made the poor boy even more worn out. Mineta just barely wrapped his arms around Tokoyami and Midoriya's waists. "Just think about it... they'll have cute girls~" Mineta grinned. "I have a girlfriend Mineta..." Midoriya sighed. "I don't care for a relationship Mineta" Tokoyami groaned. "You two are the worst type of guys! Why have one girl when you can have five Midoriya!? Why have no girls when you can have ten Tokoyami!?" Mineta let go of them and bawled up his fists. Midoriya and Tokoyami just stared at each other and slightly grinned.

"But do you seriously think it's fine to let Bakugo and his little group go? I mean they tried something at the bathhouse yesterday." Kaminari walked up to Midoriya. "I get it Kaminari... and if I had a choice, I wouldn't let them go. But I'm not hosting the party so there's not much I can do" Midoriya shrugged. "It's best to let them go and just ignore them" Iida butted in. "I guess" Kaminari whispered, having second thoughts.

"Heyyy gentlemen." a loud voice erupted from the stairs. All of the men in the room looked to find the noise to see three girls standing near the staircase. Mineta instantly started drooling while Midoriya, Kaminari, and Kirishima shot him a dirty look. "Well you ladies are definitely dressed for the occasion" Iida walked up to the group of girls. "You are too Iida-Kun, I think blue suits you" Momo smiled, looking at her friend's blue suit. Everyone else started to gather around the girls besides Midoriya and Tokoyami who were holding Mineta back from saying something the females would surely kill him for. "You look amazing Mina." Kirishima slid his hands into his pockets. "Awe thanks Kirishima. Did you still not get your suit yet?" she asked. "Not yet, I'm planning on going in a second to find one" he sighed.
