"Ugh, please tell me that's everything Hailey." I said, wiping my forehead a bit over exaggeratedly as I finished taping up the last box to put into her van.
She giggled, "yeah, that should be the last thing." The blonde curly haired girl turned around and walked out the door, carrying two boxes so her face couldn't be seen.
I smiled as I picked up the last box I had just taped up and looked around our small apartment. I was a little upset I had spent my money to move all the way here just to move back to California a year later but I had a good feeling about this. I'd be moving back with some awesome people anyways, so I wouldn't be alone.
I walked down the stairs of the apartment and walked up to the vans open doors after stepping outside. Hailey had just finished putting her two boxes in the van and wiped her hands, pleased with her work. She looked over at me, "ooh, let me help you!" She smiled and took it from me without question.
"O-oh, well alright~ thank you!" I smiled, grabbing the keys from her as we switched what we were holding from each other and I went back inside up the stairs to lock up the door.
I went down to the owner, which he was waiting outside with his arms crossed, as if he had been waiting for us to move out since ever.
I sighed and handed him the keys, "Thanks miss." He said and spun around, walking his short, stubby self back to his car.
"Well, he wasn't much of a good owner was he?" Hailey had her hands on her hips and watched with me as he entered his car and drove off.
"Why? Because he didnt answer his phone whenever something broke? Yeah, he was. He sucked." I laughed and turned around, walking to my motorcycle with my helmet in hand.
"Hey, shouldn't you at least wear your armoured jacket since your gonna be riding next to me? It's a long ride from Utah to California." She said worried and opened up the van again to open the box that had my gear in it.
I smiled, I definitely should wear at least my jacket despite if it would be really hot. It's safest since I can't just haul my motorcycle with us and I'd actually have to ride it there.
I nodded, "yeah, for sure." I said and put my helmet on, grabbing the jacket that she tossed to me. I put it over my tank top and zipped it up.
She gave me a thumbs up and taped the box back up and closed the doors again.
I hopped onto my motorcycle and turned it on, while Hailey hopped into her yellow van with pink flowers on it, sputtering it on.
She looked out the window to make sure I was ready, a big smile playing on her lips as she looked excited as ever to be going. I gave her a nod and thumbs up, revving the engine before following after her.

The hot California breeze hit me as the 'Welcome to California' sign came into view. Palm trees along the road as we got off the highway.
Even though it was hot here in California, I was even hotter with my gear on. So I couldn't wait to make it to our new apartment.
Oh yeah, and apparently Foxy told me that he had something wrong with him so he needed to go down to parts and service (coincidentally when I wasn't there) and got check up and fixed.
Whatever, I'm sure that was just an excuse for his behavior that one night.
I'm sure he still hasn't apologized to Freddy, which as soon as I see him, I'm gonna make him do it.
"Damn it's hot..." I muttered under my helmet, flicking my visor up and unzipping my gear a little bit to let some air flow through my gear.
As I turned my head to admire the palm trees around us, and the beach nearby, my eye caught someone. A really handsome guy, and he was looking my way too.
