Prom surprise 😮

March 9, 2018 (3 months and 31 days until graduation🧑🏻‍🎓 graduation day: June 9, 2018)

Niall's pov

Prom night yes I was so happy but also sad Zayn wasn't gonna be there plus I know after this we only had 2 months left with each other at school time was counting down fast

I honestly wasn't ready at all I had kept changing my mind about it my first prom and Zayn's last which he wasn't going to attend Danielle had been wanting me to go even though it meant that it was Liam's last prom for her too before their graduation in 2 months we were both unhappy our significant others were leaving but we still had them weekends plus Zayn and I are moving in together soon I was at least happy about that but it was gonna be so boring without Zayn or Liam even Louis and Harry they were all graduating soon

Dani: Hey Ni you ready to go?

Me: I guess even though Zayn won't be there 😔

Dani: Cheer up I'll be there and Liam

Me: I guess but yes I'm ready

Soon enough I see Zayn's text pop up too I didn't reply until I was in the car with Danielle and Liam though

💛👅💦Zaddy👅💦💛: I'm so sorry I can't be there baby I feel horrible I'm gonna make it up too you though

Me: I sure hope so😢

💛👅💦Zaddy👅💦💛: Please don't be upset with me baby 😩 I don't like it when you're upset with me I love you so much though I hope you have fun at least

Me: I'll try ok I'm not mad I'm just disappointed but I love you too Z

"You alright back there Niall?" Liam asked we were driving to the school I felt like I was gonna cry "Zayn's not coming I was looking forward to this because it's our last night together before your graduation" I said frowning I just couldn't believe it

We made it to school going to the gym we ran into Louis and Harry coming in as well "hey guys hey Ni you ok?" Harry asked absolutely yes Harry I'm totally fine no I'm not fine my boyfriend's not here "yes ok whatever" I said walking inside the gym going to a table if I was gonna spend the whole night without Zayn so be it, Liam looked at Harry and shrugged going over to the table I was at I felt like shit all alone Louis had Harry as his date and Liam had Danielle while that left me all alone and upset because I really wanted Zayn here

Liam's pov

Niall has been sitting at our table all night alone, he wouldn't really dance with anyone we only had 4 hours our prom was from 8pm to midnight and he was just sitting there feeling sad about Zayn not being here

I pulled Danielle out into the hallway Zayn and I had been planning this for months after he got hurt he was indeed coming he just told Niall he wasn't because he had gotten his casts off and wanted to surprise him

Bro Zayn💛: I'm on my way how's Niall?

Me: He's so sad Danielle asked him to dance with her I mean just so he wouldn't feel left out I was totally ok with it he pushed her away it's worrying me I hate seeing him like this, but he has no idea you're coming, Harry and Louis are with him right now I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees you walk through that door

Bro Zayn💛: Aww my baby I hate seeing him so sad don't worry I'm here now my sister and her boyfriend dropped me off I'm walking into the school

"Zayn's here baby" I smiled at her I was so happy for Niall "I'll be right back I'm going to go tell Louis and Harry" she cheered walking back into the gym soon enough I saw him my best friend literally walking instead of being in a wheelchair "Hey man I'm so glad you're feeling better" I hugged him then pulled away "Niall's inside Louis and Harry are keeping him company he has no idea you're here" I told him he went to the door seeing Niall, Harry, and Louis together Niall had his face in his hands just crying while Louis was trying to cheer him up just the sight of this broke Zayn's heart "I feel like he's mad at me Liam" Zayn said I patted him on the back we walked back into the gym, Zayn stood behind Niall with his hand on his shoulder all of us just watching them

Niall looked up I swear you know when you're deeply in love with someone you know their smell or something that's exactly how Zayn and Niall are. He looked up teary eyed "please tell me that I'm dreaming and Zayn's not actually behind me right now" Niall said we laughed we ended up recording this moment "you could be right Niall" Louis said smiling and that's when we all see Niall stand up now holding Zayn's hand turning himself around

He has his other hand still covering his face it's like he afraid to look we all were smiling and laughing "Look Niall" Harry told him and we all see him slowly take his hand away from his face tears still pouring down his face "hi baby did you miss me" Zayn said that caused Niall to jump into his arms  Zayn almost losing his balance at how fast Niall lunged at him.

He was hugging him so tight crying into his neck I swear it's like he hasn't seen him in ages and they were seeing each other again for the first time "Zayn I missed you so much I'm so happy you're here" he mumbled aww this was so sweet "I missed you too baby boy you didn't think I was gonna miss my senior prom did you plus you're my date remember?"

There's the Niall we all know and love he was smiling from ear to ear "Wait aren't you forgetting something" he told Zayn which left the boy to be very confused Niall sat back down looking away from Zayn oh no I think I know "Baby what's wrong?" he asked but Niall pushed him away I shook my head pulling him away from Niall

"What did I do now?" Zayn asked me I sighed he though this was only a surprise poor Niall never got asked yes I asked Danielle and Louis asked Harry but Niall was never asked "He wants you to ask him" I said this made Zayn feel like an ass he ran back over to Niall "Baby I'm so sorry I've been so caught up in telling you that I wasn't coming I forgot to ask you this is my senior prom yes I know we'll have yours but I forgot to properly ask you so baby will you please go to prom with me?" Zayn asked Niall got up hugging him "Yes" he said they gave each other a kiss now everyone was happy

Oh there was also one more surprise "Ladies and Gentlemen will all the nominees for prom king and queen join me on stage" the principal announced there were 6 nominees for king, Zayn, Harry, Louis, me, and Chris(he was a guy in my 3rd period class he's a senior as well) then there were 5 nominees for prom queen Danielle, Jennifer, Stephanie, Brooklyn, and Grace. The principal announced prom king first "This years prom king is...." The crowd got loud waiting for the winner "Zayn Malik" aww Zayn won (A/N: I decided to do their prom winners like in glee season 2 episode 20 if you've seen glee you'll know)

Niall's pov

I smiled my boyfriend had just won prom king he asked me to prom which I've been waiting for him to do but he never did that's why I was so upset but now I'm so happy he finally asked me plus he's fucking walking around just like old times

I smiled in the crowd of students seeing Zayn go up and get his crown I was so proud of my boyfriend I could here Stephanie telling Brooklyn and Jennifer that she was going to win I rolled my eyes sure I was rooting for Danielle since she was my best friend "This years prom queen is....With an overwhelming number of written-in votes is...." The crowd got loud "Niall Horan" the crowd went silent what the fuck

I didn't even campaign I felt so embarrassed like what was happening I see everyone starring at me I ran out the building crying I see Liam, Danielle, and Zayn run out even though they were supposed to be on stage "Baby are you ok? I had no idea hey I'm happy you won vs Stephanie I know she wanted to win so come on let's walk in there together and rule this prom I love you so much I wanna dance with my boyfriend remember they can't touch us baby" Zayn said kissing my lips

I smiled he was right I wasn't gonna let them break me down I loved him so much "you're right I'm sorry baby" I hugged him he pulled away

"So what do wanna do?" Zayn asked leaning against the wall in the hallway I looked at him
"I'm gonna go back in there and get coronated. I'm gonna show them that it doesn't matter if they are yelling at me or whispering behind my back, they can't touch me. They can't touch us or what we have" I said walking back into the gym and on stage "Ladies and Gentleman your 2018 prom king and queen" it was silent but I didn't care I had Zayn and he had me I was so happy

People were staring at us but Zayn didn't care neither did I, he grabbed my face looking me in the eyes before he leaned in kissing me slowly as the music played I heard someone cheering I definitely know it was Louis "May I have this dance my queen" Zayn said I smiled as we walked to the middle of the floor in the gym I smiled wrapping my arms around Zayn's neck as we danced close maybe prom wasn't so bad as long as I had Zayn and my friends I was happy
