In shadows deep, my soul does creep,
Embraced by night's cold embrace.
In the dark, I find my spark,
A solace in this secret place.
With whispered sighs, beneath starlit skies,
I wander through the silent gloom.
In darkness shrouded, my heart unclouded,
By the weight of daylight's looming doom.
The moon's soft glow, a gentle flow,
Guides me through this endless night.
In its silver sheen, I find unseen,
A refuge from the harshness of light.
For in the dark, my fears embark,
On a journey to the unknown.
I welcome the pain, the tears like rain,
In this realm where I am alone.
So let the night forever reign,
For in its depths, my love remains,
In darkness deep, my heart shall keep,
A sanctuary from life's harsh strains.
