~*~ University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria – Halls ~*~

Chavdar Dimitrov, a studious young man with glasses and a stack of books under his arm, navigates through the bustling halls of the university. He spots Nani Ruseva, a vibrant and creative girl with a notebook adorned with sketches peeking out of her bag. Their eyes meet, and a spark of recognition ignites between them.

Chavdar: (smiling) Hi! You're Nani, right?

Nani: (brightening) Yes! Hi! You must be Chavdar. I've seen you around the dormitory.

Chavdar: (nodding) Yeah, that's me. It's nice to finally meet you face to face. I didn't realize we were from the same town until recently.

Nani: (excitedly) Small world, isn't it? So, how's your day going?

Chavdar: (gesturing to his books) Busy, as always. I have an English philology lecture next. You?

Nani: (grinning) Same here! We should sit together. I find these lectures much more enjoyable when I have someone to discuss them with.

[Scene: British Library, University of Veliko Tarnovo - Lecture]

Chavdar and Nani sit side by side in the British Library, engrossed in their lecture on English literature. They share notes, exchange insights, and occasionally sneak glances at each other when the professor isn't looking.

Nani: (whispering) Did you catch that reference to Tolkien?

Chavdar: (nodding) Yes, fascinating, isn't it? I've always been drawn to fantasy literature.

Nani: (excitedly) Me too! In fact, I love writing fantasy stories in my free time. Do you write as well?

Chavdar: (smiling) Yes, I do! Mostly as a hobby, though. I'm more focused on my studies.

Nani: (nodding) Understandable. But we should definitely swap stories sometime. I'd love to hear your ideas.

Chavdar: (grinning) I'd like that. Maybe over some banitsa and tea at the dormitory?

Nani: (enthusiastically) Sounds perfect!

*SKIP TIME*

~*~ Dormitory in Veliko Tarnovo ~*~

Chavdar walks Nani back to the dormitory after their lecture, chatting animatedly about their shared interests and hometown. They reach her door, and she turns to him with a smile.

Nani: (gratefully) Thanks for walking me back, Chavdar. It's been really nice getting to know you.

Chavdar: (smiling) The pleasure's all mine, Nani. Maybe we can explore Veliko Tarnovo together sometime. Show you some of my favorite spots.

Nani: (excitedly) I'd love that! Oh, and before I forget, there's a festival happening in Yambol next month. Would you like to go together?

Chavdar: (nodding eagerly) Absolutely! It'll be like a little piece of home right here in Veliko Tarnovo.

They exchange warm smiles before Nani disappears into her dorm room, leaving Chavdar with a newfound sense of excitement for the adventures that await them in both university and their shared hometown of Yambol.
