So Perry is planning on getting married, he has just made my work even easier.
Just at that moment, Gorman walked in one of Perry's servants. He was tall and slender, and his colored hair was taken straight back and slicked down. He had a long, narrow face, washed-out blue eyes, and a soft chin that would have looked a lot better on a woman.
I hired Gorman to find me information about this Delphina, I knew I could trust him since he wasn't much of help to Perry.
"Getting some fresh air, sir?" he said has he found me by the window.
"Kind of stuffy in here, isn't it? Plus, I don't get to go out that much during the day." I said, trying to keep calm.
"Kind of," he said, keeping his voice low. "I've found out with considerable difficulty everything you need to know about Delphina."
"Good, very good, I knew I could count on you." I found another glass, made two stiff drinks. "You want one?"
His hand shot out.
"Can't stay long. Mr. Copper wouldn't like me being up here. In this envelope you will find everything you need to know about the girl." he said casually, has he handed me the envelope.
I thanked him and eased him to the door.

When it was one hour to midnight, I had already gone through the information Gorman gave me, and I was pretty confident enough to meet her.
I stripped off my old clothes and went into the bathroom. It took me a little time to get clean and shave. By now, I had raised quite a mustache, and I decided to keep it.
I returned to the bedroom, put on my shirt and trousers and shoes, and then took a look at myself in the mirror on the wall.
No one could recognize me with this mustache and made me feel pretty confident in myself. Now I am more than ready to go hustle up that, babe.
