THE MORE CLOSER they got to the basement the more anxious Kailani had become. For a second Kailani noticed something of Annie she was wearing a ring.
It seemed to be nothing special but soon Kailani saw something it seemed to be within the ring, but she couldn't make it out unfortunately.
The four had walked into the basement but Kailani noticed Annie wasn't following them anymore.
"Wait guys", She said to signal to them that Annie was not coming down with them. They all looked up seeing Annie just standing at the top of the basement looking down on them.
"Hey Annie, why have you stopped we're almost there?", Eren asked the blonde girl was silent before she answered "I am not coming" the quartet looked at each other. Kailani's heart was racing fast the anxiety was coming towards her a lot more than expected.
Annie had put her right hand over her left arm as if she was nervous but for what? "Annie we don't have time for this, please just walk down here so we can get Eren out of here", Armin ordered.
"Get him out of here?", Annie replied in question "Is that what we are really doing here Armin? Are we lying for our good friend who is a deadly menace".
Kailani had gasped a little hearing Annie's word, the blonde teen girl had looked as if she was smiling down on them like a psycho.
Annie had then let out a burst of laughter while she was doing so with a scared smile on her face, Kailani had tugged onto Armin's hood and with fright on her face.
"There's a sharp cut within her ring", Kailani mouthed to Armin he didn't understand Kailani at first until she whispered "Annie's ring had a sharp hook within in".
Armin's jaw dropped as he then looked over at Eren who was screaming at Annie saying how what she was saying was all a joke and she didn't mean any of what she was saying.
"Alright, I've had enough of this bullshit", Mikasa cursed as she took off her disguise to reveal her ODM gear around her hips about to reveal her swords within the gear and just as she was doing that.
Annie took out her sharp hook within her ring "ARMIN NOW!", Kailani shouted Armin took out a smoke signal gun and covered his right ear with his right hand and shot the green smoke signal in the air to signal other citizens to put Annie down and make sure she doesn't transform.
They all came out from hiding and with a white cloth put it around Annie's mouth while some held down her arms and hands.
Kailani was at ease for a second until it hit her Annie still had her ring on her finger "YOU ALL RUN, SHE HAS A RING!" But before the girl could even get her words out Annie had took out the sharp hook.
