Kian's POV

I really wanted to see the girl's reaction on me being her boss, even if she didn't want to work under me, she probably had no other option as she had most probably signed the contract which stated that she couldn't resign without giving minimum of a three month notice. When I was lost in my thoughts imagining her reaction, I heard a soft knock on the door, it seemed like she was nervous. It was surprising as how easy it was for me to read her mind even though I've met only a couple of times, more specifically twice.

I got back to my expressionless stoic face and said come in. She walked in with her eyes looking at the file in her hand, I didn't say anything and waited for her to look up and she did,  "It's you??, what are you doing here??" asked Kiara shocked, but tried to regain her composure to try and not look as shocked as she was.

I mentally chuckled and thought " this was going to not just be fun, but a blast" still I didn't utter a word.

After a few deep breaths she was back to the stoic expression on her face, but I didn't or more likely couldn't miss the curiosity and shock in her eyes, but it seemed like a lot was going on in her mind  connecting the dots and the minute realization dawned upon her she mumbled to herself " Is this akdu by any chance The Kian Aadish Aarya and my boss??, god why do you do this to me?? why me all the time??", but I heard it.

I stood up from my seat and started walking towards her with slow steps and said " Yes, Miss Kiara. From today onwards I'm your boss, Ahaan will inform you about all your duties, this is my workplace and would love for it to stay that way. I DO NOT WANT ANY NUISANCE HERE, am I clear??" in my usual tone which sent shivers down everyone's spine, at least that's what my best friends say.

She just nodded still in a daze, as I headed out of my personal cabin I asked her to get my coffee to the conference room immediately and heard her mutter "Bhagwan maine aap ka aisa kya bhigaada hain ki aapne mujhe yeh waheeyad praani ke saath atka diya hain" (Translation: God, what did I do to you that you put me in a fix with this weird animal)

I had heard from Ahaan that she was really good at her work because she had apparently aced both the interview and several other tests which weren't easy at all because they were meant to test the capabilities of the employee, especially the secretary of the CEO under pressure and various other conditions. I just shook my head at her unfiltered mouth, boldness and headed towards the conference room as I was in no mood to have a fight with her first thing in the morning when I had better things to do.

While, I was seated at the head of the table paying utmost attention to the presentation, the door creaked open and I saw Kiara enter, the sound of her heels echoed in the room which had pin drop silence. She placed a mug before me, I was too involved in the presentation to look at the contents and plus I needed my daily dose of caffeine as I could feel the headache building and lifted the cup, took a sip and immediately placed the cup back on the table with much force than required that some of it's content spilled on the table and also on my suit.

Everyone was already frightened and my anger was getting the best of me, I was a person who would stay calm even if I was pushed to my edge. It seemed like my new employee and secretary was on a mission to deliberately get killed by me in one or the other way.

I dismissed the meeting and diverted my Icey glare towards Kiara and found her looking at me with a bored look which angered me even more.

"Why the hell are you hell bent on annoying me??, what did you bring??" I roared.

" Coffee" she replied with a bored look which added to my anger which was getting out of my control with every passing minute.

"Why did you bring black coffee ??" trying to stay calm, but it seemed impossible at the moment.
