Surprise Visit: Part 1

"WHAT?!?" Melodie screamed.

The manager, Agent P, was quite startled because of Melodie's response.

"Is there a problem, Melodie? I mean, you DON'T have a boyfriend! Right?"

"Uhh... no.. I don't.. uh.. but.."

Melodie didn't want the manager to find out about her and Draco's secret relationship. Why? Well, the manager wants Melodie to date someone rich and famous and make profit off of her relationship(s).

The manager looked at Melodie suspiciously.

"Are you sure you are not lying to me right now?"

"Yes, mr Manager! I'm sure!.."

"Then, i'll give you some time to think about this. Get some rest now! You look like a mess.."

And with that, the manager left and Melodie just stood there, with a worried look on her face.

Draco slowly crawled out from under her bed and hugged Melodie.

"Hey, maybe you should tell him.. the truth. He's gonna try to matchmake you with someone anyway. Lying to him will just make things worse.." said Draco softly.

"You're right, but... he would not approve of our relationship!.. He wants me to date rich and famous people.."

Draco hugged Melodie and said;
"Don't worry. When you're ready to tell him, i'll be by your side."

Melodie smiled.

"Thanks, Draco."

Draco left the trailer and Melodie sat on her bed and thought of the idea of telling him.

"I.. I cant! It's too risky! But.. NOT telling him and lying and hiding it is also risky! Shit... what should I do?..."

But one thing Melodie decided. She was NOT going to participate in that stupid show idea Agent P had in mind.

But rejecting the idea would make the manager demand an explanation. So maybe then is the time to tell him too.

"I'm gonna give it some time.."

Then, she decided to get some rest.

The next day, Melodie woke up at 5am.

It was oddly quiet. The first thing that popped in her head was the stupid idea Agent P had in mind.

"Ugh... now my day is already ruined. Great."

She hopped out of bed, put on some simple clothing and went to the trailer's kitchen.

She quickly made some scrambled eggs alongside with a green smoothie and ate it.

It was Saturday. Today was the day she would move from the trailer to her actual home, a nice villa in the fancy area of Starr park.

She was actually waiting forward to it. She would FINALLY have more privacy! She could finally invite Draco over with no worries!

Thinking of that made her smile.

After eating, she changed to her usual outfit you see her wearing and applied some makeup.

"Hmm.. should I go tell the manager now? But.. Draco promised to be by my side. Maybe I should call him first."

Melodie picked up her phone and dialed Draco's number.

Dialing...

"Hey, this is Draco! I'm probably away practicing my guitar, so leave a message!"

"Hey! It's Melodie, and I.. uhh.. I want to tell the manager about us. So call me back as soon as possible, OK? Love you!"

She hanged up and sighed.

"I have to hope he calls me back soon before the Manager comes asking for an explanation himself."

Since today was Saturday, she didn't have any choreography and vocal lessons. She could finally just relax.

Then, it popped to her head.

"What if... I go to Draco's apartment door and surprise him? That would be so great! Then I don't have to speak to him through the phone."

She quickly grabbed a brown coat to hide herself (from fans) and left the trailer.

She walked through the concert hall and left from the front door. There were guards there, yes, but she was allowed to leave without permission if she didnt just have a concert or would have one today.

She ran to the nearest gift shop, ran by Griff. She wanted to gift Draco something too, of course!

She looked around the shop. There wasnt really anything that caught her eye, until..

There it was. A green dragon plushie. Just like the one Draco has a keychain of, and an inflatable which he swears is a real dragon.

"Yes! This is perfect! He'll love it!"

She grabbed the plushie and headed to the check-out.

Edgar was the cashier today. Melodie didn't have a problem with that, except..

He was currently playing a song on his phone, full volume.

Melodie peeked at the song at Starrify. (Spotify) She almost gasped when she saw that it was...

Draco!

Suddenly, Edgar noticed her and quickly took of his headphones.

"Hi welcome to the Gift Shop or whatever."

"Hi! Just this, please."

Edgar scanned the item.

"24,50$."

Melodie paid the money, but before she was about to leave, she asked:

"Um, I couldn't help but notice you were listening to a rockstar named.. Draco?"

"Yeah, so? You don't know him?"

Melodie decided to lie a little bit.

"No, I don't. Is he someone new in the music industry?"

"Ugh.. yes. He released his new song yesterday and it blowed up. He's becoming an international star, hopefully."

"Alright, thanks for telling me!"

Melodie left a 100$ tip to the tip jar. Edgar was quite surprised, but shrugged it off.

As Melodie stepped out of the store, she suddenly realized.

"Wait, that's perfect! Draco becoming a star, a famous person! Then the manager will allow me to date him publicly for sure!"

Melodie jumped with joy. She rushed to Draco's apartment. She had so much to talk about.
