Chan had spent the day driving aimlessly through the city.
Not that it had helped at all, but he was at least partly focused on not causing an accident.
He knew that he had overreacted. Knew that he shouldn't have slapped and yelled at Changbin. But his emotions were simply overcooked.
He felt terrible, but he didn't really know what to do now.
Now he sat on the hood of his car and stared into the stars. It was already quite late and he would have to pick up Jisung from work soon.
And somehow he didn't feel comfortable with the thought of having to tell Jisung everything. He didn't want Jisung to misunderstand the things that had happened and yet it was important that he would talk to him about it and won't keep all this a secret from him.
Sighing, he rubbed his hands over his face.
A look at his watch confirmed that it was already after midnight and it would also take him a while to drive back to Jisung's work.
On the one hand, he was looking forward to being able to hug Jisung again. He urgently needed some closeness and secureness. On the other hand, he wanted to do nice things with Jisung and not have to explain to him that both Changbin and himself had behaved like idiots.
But since he didn't want to leave Jisung waiting again under any circumstances, he had no choice but to set off.
When he finally parked in the employee parking lot, he realizes with relief that he was on time. But since he didn't feel like talking to anyone, or meeting any people in general, he just stayed in the car.
He didn't have to wait long for Jisung to leave the club together with Minho, Hyunjin and Jeongin.
Chan bit his lower lip thoughtfully, but then got out anyway. He didn't want to seem rude.
A big smile appeared on Jisung's lips when he discovered Chan and ran towards him.
Chan felt better immediately and also had to smile. He stretched out his arms to the younger one, who took this as an opportunity and jumped into his arm.
Fortunately, Chan reacted quickly enough and reached for Jisung's butt out of reflex to hold him, which made the other three laugh.
"Hi baby," Chan said quietly, pressing a gentle kiss on Jisung's lips.
"Hi Channie," Jisung murmured and wrapped his arms around the older's neck to have a better grip.
In the meantime, Hyunjin, Minho and Jeongin had arrived at them and watched the two with a grin.
"I'll take you home now!" Chan muttered and pressed his lips again on those of the younger one.
"May I still say goodbye?" Jisung asked, giggling.
When Chan shook his head, Jisung wanted to protest, but then he saw tears in Chan's eyes he just nodded. "Let's go home."
"Byyee Babes see yoouu later," Jisung shouted while Chan carried him to the car.
"Don't go too wild," Hyunjin laughed and then went to the oldest's car with Jeongin and Minho.
Chan gently let Jisung down next to the car and then pulled him in his arms again briefly. Instantly he wrapped his arms around the elder and gently stroked his back.
Chat took a deep breath and noticed how different Jisung smelled after work. Definitely like alcohol, although it didn't seem like he had drunk any himself. Like sweat and surprisingly like cotton candy.
Finally, he detached himself from him and opened the car door so that Jisung could sit in the car.
He took another deep breath, walked around the car and let himself fall into the driver's seat.
