I stay on the ground, looking around me, but my eyes are blurring everything into a single mass. Tears are streaming down my face, and I can't handle this anymore. My neck keeps jerking and cracking. I clench my jaw shut, but that doesn't stop the tic of swear words that escape my mouth.
"Fu-f-fuck..." I breathe out ruggedly.
-snap- my head snaps in the direction I heard the sound. My eyes falling on a silhouette. His body shape is oddly familiar, but in the state of mind I'm in, I can't seem to think of who it is.
"Toby?" The silhouette calls out. I don't answer, my overwhelming tics making it a struggle to even look at them.
"Hey, Toby? Are you okay??" They crouch next to me, scooping me in their arms. My form trembles. The warmth of the embrace eases my tics slightly. I look up at the figure, red-faced and puffy eyed. When my mind relaxed, I then realised it was Jack.
"Wuh-what..." I try to say something, but nothing comes out. He stares down at me and holds me closer.
"You're freezing, Toby. Have you been taking care of yourself? Eating? Drinking?" I shake my head, causing him to frown. "And why the fuck not!?" He raises his voice.
"I-" I stop myself, looking away. He places his hand under my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze.
"Answer my question, Tobias." He says in a stern voice.
I take a deep breath before finally speaking. "I do-dont care t-that much about m-me."
"Yes, but why? Why do you choose to neglect yourself of food and water?"
"BE-BECAUSE YOU S-STARTED IGN-IGNORING ME!" I yell, tears streaming down my face as I do so. His eyes widen as he wraps his arms around me tight.
I break down in his arms, my tics still there but starting to ease up.
"I'm sorry, Tobias I was just... thinking." He confesses.
Thinking of what?
