Mayura's pov:
I couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Abhimaan's grumpy face as my mother sternly instructed him to stay out of the palace until the evening. The poor guy looked like a child who had been denied his favorite toy. His eyes narrowed, and his lips pursed, but he couldn't hide the hint of a smile that played on his lips.
"Abhimaan, beta, you know the tradition," my mother reminded him, her voice firm but amused. "The groom doesn't see the bride on their engagement day until the evening ceremony. It's bad luck otherwise."
Abhimaan huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Bad luck? Really, Ma? You know I don't believe in such superstitions."
I chuckled, enjoying the banter between them. "Come on, Abhi, it's just one day. You can survive without seeing me for a few hours," I teased, playfully rolling my eyes.
He shot me a mock glare, but his eyes sparkled with humor. "Fine, fine. I'll stay out of the palace. But only because I don't want to tempt fate... or maa's wrath."
Maa smiled, satisfied with his compliance. "Good boy. Now, off you go. We have a lot of work to do here."
As Abhimaan reluctantly departed, I couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement for our special day ahead. Little did I know, it would be a day filled with laughter, tears, and a whole lot of love.
Today's the day! My engagement ceremony! I can barely contain my excitement as I sit in front of the mirror, maa and Riya bustling around me, helping me get ready.
My heart races with anticipation as I think about Abhimaan, the love of my life. We've been through so much together, and finally, we're taking this big step towards spending the rest of our lives together.
As my mother puts the final touches on my makeup and hair, I can't help but think about the journey that brought us here. The laughter, the tears, the adventures, and the memories we've shared. Abhimaan, with his charming smile and kind heart, has captured my soul in a way I never thought possible.
My sister-in-law, helped me into my stunning royal dark green and gold lehenga, and I feel like a princess. Maa puts the beautiful diamond necklace around my neck, and I feel like a queen.
As I make my way to the ceremony hall, I can hear the sound of traditional music and the chatter of our guests. My heart beats faster with excitement, knowing that Abhimaan is waiting for me there.
When I enter the hall, our eyes meet, and it's like the whole world has come to a standstill. He looks dashing in his black and white tuxedo, his eyes shining with love and adoration. I can't help but smile, feeling like the luckiest person alive.
The ceremony begins, and we exchange our vows, our rings, and our promises. With each passing moment, I feel our bond growing stronger, our love more unbreakable.
