Hey guys its all done!

Dear gentle reader,

At Lady Featherington's ball, Mr Colin Brigerton was seen loudly and proudly making a declaration that he would never court a Miss Penelope Featherington. Miss Penelope was seen running from the ball with tears streaming like a river down her cheeks.

To anyone who actually looks at Miss Penelope she seems to be quiet, shy, modest and an outcast in this social setting. That poor girl forced to wear dresses seem to show off her as she deals with the scandals her family always to seem to be a catalyst of. Over the years I have seen and heard stories of how Mr Brigerton ignore the facts and consistently break her heart. He seems to ignore the place in her delicate heart she made for him and put in a reservation he may never turn up for. And I do feel for the poor girl. She is also noted for her close relationships with most of the Brigerton's if not all.

But on other news Duchess Daphne has had her first child, August, a little girl rumoured to be as radiant as her mother there is no doubt she will follow her mother's path on capturing the hearts of the ton. And the eyes...

However I do carry a warning to the queen. While I respect you I stand for no nonsense. I know you have threatened many a people who you believe to be me, and you just keep missing. So Venus, stop. Stop or I expose That Secret.

Yours truly,

Lady Whistledown

The ball ruined her. Crushed her heart. Tore apart her friendship. Ruined everything.

Penelope cried for so long that night. It felt like it took an eternity for her cries to stop and come to a halt as she came to a self-actualization.

She picked up her book on the piano off the floor that she thrown in frustration. She had always been trying to play the piano with the grace and excellence of a skilled pianist to attract suitors but her notes where never playing smooth as they had to be, so as she walked down the staircase of her home to the reception area empty now as guests left long ago last night.

She sat down at the piano that once daunted her, once a reminder of what she could never achieve, not like Daphne, not like her sisters, not like any lady of the ton.

But this time she saw it as a representative of all she was told she could never be. It was only now she realized she had always done those things, and it was only a false blockade of words written only in her mind that could hold her back. And they would no longer, she let her mind think of books, the beautiful countryside, the music of nature. With that her hands played, a piece worthy of Mozart himself.

Alone in the dark she played her daunting tune that seemed to sing along with the calls of tragedy.

It was there she decided.

She has to leave.

Hastily she wrote a note, "Dear Mother, sisters,

I have decided to go to France to go to a house left to me by the Late Lady Red. She met me in multiple balls, and I was informed she left me assets in her will.

It will be my duty to check on things there and organise the household.

I will spend a while there and then update you but letter may take weeks to be delivered to I doubt I shall hear from you any time soon, I have left enough money to pay of the Featherington debts and support you for a few years. By the time you read this I shall have sailed away, bye mother, sisters.

Best Wishes,

Penelope Featherington
