Cornelia Flick has always been a great soccer fan. As the daughter of a famous Bayern Munich and German national team coach, the sport has always been part of her life. And yet, it was the FC Barcelona that thrilled the young girl for years.

Hansi Flick always suspected his wife, Sofia Flick, a beautiful Spanish woman, to influence their daughter on the Spanish side. But in the end, he didn't really care which team his daughter supported; he was happy to see that she had the same passion.

Imagine his joy when he was about to tell her they were moving to Spain because he'd signed on as the team's new coach. She jumped up and down screaming. The young woman who had been crying for days at the thought of Xavi Hernandez leaving his position, had finally dried her tears.

The 21-year-old rushed to her room, grabbed her phone and called Jamal Musiala, her best friend since they were kids. It took him a few seconds to answer. She found herself facing what looked like the ceiling of his bedroom.

"Jamal?
— Do you know what time it is?"

The brunette exploded with laughter as she sat down on her bed.

"Don't tell me you're still asleep? It's almost noon!
— Oh excuse me Mrs. Early Bird, but some people like to sleep late.
— Say maybe you overdid it a little last night... Again."

The young man straightened up and leaned back against the wall.

"I don't like your accusations, Mademoiselle."

Cornelia laughed again as she saw her friend's face on her phone.

"Well, now that you're up and about, do I have your undivided attention?
— As my number one fan, you always have my attention."

She rolled her eyes, sketching a smile.

"That's it, of course. So... behave yourself... My dad just signed his contract as the new coach of FC Barcelona!"

She squealed, which made her best friend laugh.

"That's really great! He must have been thrilled to tell you. When are you moving?
— In two weeks! Oh my God, I can't wait! Anyway, I'm a bit sad. I won't be able to come and see you as often as I used to.
— Don't worry about that, I'll come and see you. And since your parents adore me and dream of you marrying me because I'm the best man this earth has ever carried, they'll let me come all the time!"

They began to laugh.

"Just because my mother once said you were perfect 'cause you helped her carry a shopping bag seven years ago doesn't mean you should take it at face value you know....
— You know I am!"

She grimaced at her screen and put her phone down on her nightstand so her hands were free.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy, I've got to get my file transfer ready for university, I've got to warn my girlfriends in Barcelona, I've got to...
— And Felix?"
