[1] - Ugh, School.

I was sleeping in deep slumber like there was no tomorrow, then I got disturbed by his alarm.

I grabbed my alarm in an annoying manner before I threw it across my room before I let out a sighed and slowly woke up from my sleep.

"What time is it?" I said in a drowsy tone before looking at the clock. [6 AM] I still had time to do my daily routine.

I got out of bed, lifted my shirt, and scratched my belly before walking towards the bathroom to shower. As I did, I got back to my room to dress up and walked down the stairs. "Good morning, mom," I said, greeting my mother. I approached the table in the kitchen before my mother smiled and laid down his breakfast. "Meron kang school today, right?" she asked.

"Yes," I answered before I started to eat my meal. "Wonderful, make sure to take care and listen to your teacher." "Yes, I will, mom," I answered before I finished up my meal, and I stood up to go to the refrigerator and grab some water to drink.

I then went to the couch to grab my bag before I bent down to grab my shoes down the couch and wore them. "Mom, I'll be going now," I said as I finished wearing my shoes. Then I stood up and opened the door, smelling the sweet morning.

I stepped out of the house before I started to walk to a waiting place for transportation to go to school. After some time of walking, I waited in a place just in front of a sundry store.

As the jeep arrived, the jeepney barker stood beside the jeepney and started to call out for passengers. ["HERE! HERE!—MA'AM, WHERE ARE YOU HEADED TO?] the jeepney barker said in a very loud voice to attract passengers.

The passengers were swarming the jeepney; almost half of them are just adults who are going to work, and the rest are students going to attend school as well. It was a busy morning.

Luckily, I saw a spot and quickly hopped inside as well. Before I sat down and took off my bag to place it on my lap, I reached out to my pocket and grabbed 10 pesos to pay for the fee.

As the jeepney got full, damn, I was getting squeezed by the students. This was also my first time traveling alone since I was always used to traveling with my parents or my mother, so I was anxious and kind of nervous.

After some time, the jeepney eventually arrived at school as I got out of the Jeep and proceeded to just stare at the gate. "Oh,"] I thought. I was nervous and kind of hesitant to go inside, but I had to for the sake of my education.

I slowly walked towards the gate before looking at the guards. I stepped inside the gate and navigated through the buildings. It has been almost 20 minutes of circling around the school. ["Too many buildings.. where is it?"] Looking around my surroundings, many students are here, and the school is getting lively.

I came back near the gate before looking at the guards. I looked at the floor nervously, then back at them again before he finally approached one nearby the desk and asked, "Excuse me, sir, do you know the building called "Chavez" and room 5?"

The guard looked at me with a firm expression before he nodded and stood up. "Yes, I do. Follow me, and I'll show you," the guard said, then got out of his desk and walked to the garden. I then followed behind, and my thought lingers: "Will I do fine?" The guard then points at a building. "There," the guard said before he looked at me. I nodded before he spoke. "Thank you," I said before walking towards the building.

As I got closer, a woman suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and asked me, "Excuse me, boy, do you know where room xxx?" she asked me before I just shook my head. "Ah, no, sorry," I said in response before the woman just nodded and spoke, "Ah, okay." Then she walked away.
