Chapter 9

"come on we need to go"Luke says as Bonnie cry's as she holds onto the board as she, her aunt Kate and Luke swim off towards the island they needed to get to land fast.

Tears stained Bonnie face as she continues to swim with Luke and her aunt Kate as the island gets closer as they come to a rock under the water as they sit on it for a moment.

"What am I going to do now both my parents are gone"Bonnie sniffles as Kate hugs her neice.

"Me and Luke will take care of you"she says as she kisses her sniffling niece on the head before Luke gets in the water looking under with his goggles seeing they will have to swim before breaking through the surface.

Luke sees the board floating off before he swims after it as they beg him to come back before he swims back as boonie sniffles as she and her aunt Kate get back in the water breathing heavily before they swim off gently towards the land ahead of them as Luke swims looking underneath the water with his goggles as he seems somemore reef as Bonnie and her aunt Kate look around nervous as they continue to swim forward as luke saw something before it disappeared as they swim to another rock as the waves were more attractive since the current picked up as they took a breather.

"It doesn't look like have that much further to go"Bonnie says panting as the island looked closer than what it did as they were all breathing heavily.

Kate then notice something wrong with her foot "guys my my foot it's bleeding"she says breathing hard before Luke lifts up her leg showing cuts on the bottom of ball of her foot before he unzips this back pack pulling out a red and black cloth as he ties it around the cut putting pressure to stop the bleeding.

"Are you going to be okay Aunt Kate"Bonnie asked worried.

"Of course honey"Kate reassured her as her cut was taken car of as she gives Luke a thanks as they all share small smiles.

"I love you Luke"Kate says.

"I love you to "Luke says as they share a kiss as Bonnie smiles softly at the moment before the two break away with smiles as they pulled Bonnie into a group hug before they look out to the island before they share looks it was now or never as one by one the carefully got back into the water as they swim towards the island gently through the current as Luke used one of the boards while Kate and her niece shared the other one as they Island was just up ahead as they use there arms and legs as they swim as look swims with his head underneath the water looking around before pulling his head up moving his goggles as they continued to swim while looking out for the shark as it was shown slowly appears at of the dark underneath the water as it slowly swims after them.

As they were swimming the cloth that was tide around Kate's cut comes off as she kicks her feet gently through the water as the three continue to swim towards the island as the shark was shown underneath the surface as they keep swimming while keeping a look out for the shark not knowing it was slowly following after them from behind they were almost there when Kate looked behind her and screamed as they turn seeing the shark swimming behind them as its fin appeared out the water.

"Oh God"Bonnie says with fear as the fin disappeared as they look around rapidly for the shark as Luke pulls down his goggles looking underneath for the shark as he looks around before seeing the shark close as he brakes through the surface as Kate and Bonnie whimper at how close the shark is before it disappears as they looked around gasping with fear before seeing it in the distance as the shark swims closer as it circled them as Bonnie whimpers in fear.

Luke looks around as he lost the shark before the bubbles clear as it was swimming around them before it swims off disappearing again when Luke couldn't see it anymore he breaks through the surface moving his goggles up as he takes his bag and throws it as far as he can getting the sharks attention away from them.

"Swim fast now"he says breathing heavily as the three swim as fast as they can to the land as the shark was distracted as they get to the land as Kate and Luke help push Bonnie up as she gasp as she grunts pulling her self up onto her hands and knees before turning as she holds a hand out to her aunt Kate as she pulls while Luke pushed Kate as they managed to get Kate up as the girls were breathing heavily.

Luke sees the shark coming fast as he try to climb "help me up!" He panicked as they try to pull him up but the shark was coming to fast as it opens it's mouth grabbing Luke by the waist dragging him off as they gasp.

Bonnie and Kate stumbled to there feet breathing heavily as they look around for Luke "Luke!"Kate yells as they look around but he was gone as Kate falls to her knees sobbing as Bonnie glares with tears "you damn shark!"she screamed in anger and pain as she sobs falling next to there aunt as everyone they cared about was gone and taken by the shark as they only had each other now as they can do nothing but wait for someone to find them as the land they were now on was shown in the distance.

The undersurface of the see was shown as the current rocks in waves as words slowly appear 'kate and Bonnie were rescued the next day by a fishing boat and both were rushed to the hospital ' and then 'despite an extensive search, no remains of warren  or the yacht were ever found ' as everything fades black.
