Chapter 4: The Digimon of Darkness; A Wolf Prey

"Last time on Digimon...Digital Monster... Kelly and the rest of the gang decided to take a late-night rest near a lake, but we're attacked by Seadramon. In the end, Matt's Digimon partner Gabumon digivolved into Garurumon and defeated him, and now they continue the adventure in the digital world."

The eight kids were wandering around in a thick dense forest while looking for some humans. Beside each of them was their Digimon partner, which were each different species, with different appearances, and different personalities. Which the children soon realized as they traveled with them.

Tai was holding up his mini telescope as he looked through it in hope of finding something or someone.

"Do you see any Tai?" Sora asked as she walked over towards him.

"No not a thing just this dense forest," Tai sneered annoyed."If only this forest wasn't so thick then I could see something. Ugh, I wish these trees were burned down," He commented.

"Hey I can help with that," Agumon said happily."With my pepper breath," He said.

"That won't be necessary Agumon," Tai said quickly." It was just a figure of speech I didn't mean it," He said.

"Yeah, and the fact that all the Digimon living here would notice us and immediately attack us," Matt added." They are furious if you destroy their home, " He added.

"That would be bad," TK said nervously.

Patamon nodded in agreement."Yeah," He said.

They were sitting inside a clearing where they found some tree stumps and a small lake to take a break to rest and drink some water. However, due to the denseness of the forest, the gang found themselves lost.

"That's not the only bad thing," Sora suddenly said. "She at it again," She stated as the others turned towards the lake where Kelly and Dorumon sat.

"Stop already," Kelly said annoyed at the Digimon stroking her head as if she were some little kid who needed to be comforted.

"But Mistress.." Dorumon said, but Kelly simply pushed Dorumon away and walked over to a new spot near the lake.

"Stop worrying about me as if I'm a kid and not your mistress," Kelly stated.

"Would Mistress Kelly be to your liking?" Dorumon asked.

"It's Kelly," Kelly stated pulling out her stuffed bear and gazing at the water.

"What with her?" Tai asked placing his hand behind his head."She has this great Digimon always ready to serve and protect like some warrior."

"I understand how she feels," Sora replied slowly and looked at Biyomon who was rubbing her leg."I mean Dorumon always guarding her like she is weak and doesn't give her space to breathe. I would lose my cool as well."

"I wonder why Dorumon is that way?" Izzy questioned."I know you are all different Digimon with different personalities, but still..."

"Dorumon is a Digimon with combat instinct," Tentomon explained."It said that Dorumon is often treated badly for being a beast-type Digimon, but are pretty caring and protective of those who treat them without fear."

"So that's why he calls her Mistress?"Joe asked glancing over at Kelly still stareing at the water deep in thought. Why is she now bothered by it? She seemed fine before."

"Maybe she is upset," TK said.

"Anyway, what do we do now?" Joe questioned."Where rather lost."

"I wanna go home already!" Mimi yelled in an annoying tone.
