After all, he is trying to convince her genuinely. He also said that he won’t play any pranks on her, yet she is doubtful about him.
“Anu, I am sorry, iss baar main koi mazaak nahi karunga. Please iss baat ko jaane do, aur maan jao.” He pleads, his gaze fixed on her.

“Achcha, guarantee de sakte ho?” She asks, her gaze piercing into his.
“Kyunki, aisa pehle bhi ho chuka hai, aur tum jaante ho. Tum hamesha vaada karte ho aur phir uske opposite kaam karte ho! Tum iss baat se mukar nahi sakte, Vineet.” She says, every word putting a weight on his heart; she’s right, after all.

“Vineet, jab main kehti hoon na ki main tum par bharosa karti hoon toh pure dil se karti hoon, lekin tumhare pranks ki wajah se bharosa karna mushkil ho jaata hai.” She blurts out the truth, and he knows it.
“Ana, dekho, main vaada karta hoon, iss baar aisa nahi hoga. Main apni galti repeat nahi karunga, tumhari kasam! Dekho, tum hi rooth jaogi toh kaise chalega? Tumse hi toh main hoon.” He says, his tone laced with love and genuineness.
“Shall I trust you?” She gazes at him, and he makes an innocent face, urging for forgiveness.
“Achcha, thik hai. Toh tumhe aaj sab kuch mere mutaabik karna hoga! Jo plans tumhari wajah se kal cancel hue, un sabko aaj poora karna hoga, karoge?” She asks, her words fusing a spark of hope within him.
