Chapter 11 Say What?!

Marie's pov:

"Night Sammy, night Emily!" I yelled heading upstairs with Dean to go to sleep. I fell asleep thinking about death, but these dreams weren't as they usually were tonight I dreamt of a past, mine to be more specifically. 

I woke up (or so I thought) in a park "Hello? Is anyone there? Dean?" I screamed wandering around the park, when a voice spoke to me

"Hello Annamaria" He said in a deep intimidating voice

I jumped and turned around "How do you know my name? Nobody even knows my full name!" I stated backing away from the stranger 

"Annamaria please..." he said coming closer to me

"Who the hell are you?!" I screamed with frustration backing even further away

"You don't remember me at all sister?" He said sadly staying put

"Sister?!" 

"Very well I will explain, my name is Castiel I am an angel of the lord." he said looking at me expecting me to recognize something

"Angel? You have got to be kidding me." I scoffed turning to walk away when he grabbed my hand spinning me around to face him

"It is true I am an angel of the lord, and so are you!" Castiel said with such seriousness in his voice

"That's not possible, if I were an angel I wouldn't be dying of cancer!" I screamed in his face angrily

"You carved out your grace to be human, we need to get it back and you will be restored as an angel." He said as if he was plotting in his head

"What if I don't want it back?" I questioned 

"Then you will die, and Dean will bring you back and be tortured in hell while you live." 

"No he can't he promised me he wouldn't try to stop me!" I said starting to tear up

"You know him, he is stubborn and he will if we don't find your grace." He said sadly

"I can't let him die for me, alright angel boy can you explain who I actually am?"

"Yes." He said touching my forehead, as he did I remembered everything! I am an angel of the lord and I am very powerful. 

"Castiel!" I yelled hugging him "I missed you and I didn't even know it!" I said crying

"Sister I have watched over you, I have missed you as well!" He said awkwardly hugging me back

"And your Dean's guardian angel?" I questioned, he simply nodded

"We need to find my grace, Dean cannot die! If I get my grace back, will I still be able to be with Dean?" 

"You can see him, but you won't be able to have the same relationship you have right now." He said looking around

I nodded before speaking up "If it'll save Dean, then I would do anything."

"Very well Dean is waking up so I will send you back, But Annamaria you can tell no one of this." He said sternly

"What? Why not?" I said confused

"They are not ready to learn of angels." He said like it was obvious

"So I'm supposed to find my grace, how am I supposed to search for it with them not knowing?" I asked impatiently 

"Well... You can't search with them... You have to leave them." He said with no emotion

"I can't do that, Dean will be heartbroken!" I cried to him

"It must be done, he may be heartbroken but he will live." He said sadly

"Alright, I have to do it to save Dean. Send me back now brother, and we will meet again soon. I will pray to you when I have finished breaking... When I leave them" I said trying not to cry

"Very well sister, you must be convincing. They must not come after you, good luck and I am sorry." he said waking me up from the dream

I can't believe I have to break his heart, it has to be done or he'll die. I kept telling myself, psyching me up for the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life.

Another authors note, a kid who went to my school drowned from snorkeling, I wasn't that close to him but he will be deeply missed. R.I.P. Elijah you are in a better place now, and you have no idea how much you are missed and will continue to be missed!!!
