Prologue

I have finally got a better job than just working at Epic Burger. A place that's bigger, and more luxurious. A place where wonder runs free! A place, called OJ's Object Global Hotel, or for short OOGH. This place had always seemed rather interesting to me. I would always bike past it or ride past it and wonder what chaos was going on in there.
Well, today I'm going to find out. My alarm beeps and my husband Liam smacks it before I can reach over both him and my wife to smack the alarm. We were a couple of three. It was just us three, Liam, Ameila, and I. We did everything together. The weirdest part about our whole relationship was how we met. We were all trapped in a game show with an invisible host who turned out to be some psychopath. I'm not going to get too deep into that though.
Anyways, Liam gets out of bed first. He groans and scratches his back as he walks into the bathroom to get ready. Amelia shifts to my side due to Liam's side being cold and empty. She then pulls me into a hug for warmth. The warm embrace fills me with a sense of peace and comfort.
Then, the second alarm went off.
"EE-EE-EE-EE!" The alarm screams. I groan and turn over to reach the beeping alarm clock. I smack it and get up. I stretch and yawn. This cause Amelia to shift back and forth, searching for warmth again. I pay her back and whisper in her ear.
"Morning love."
She smiles and gets up.
"Morning Bryce." She replies.
I get out of bed and I meet Liam in the bathroom as he finishes getting ready.
"So how are you feeling about your first day! You know, at the LARGEST hotel on the planet! You know, objects from all over the world come here!" Liam exclaims with excitement. I pressed my teeth together.
"Eeeeeh. Iiiii don't know. I'm going to be so far away from you two. I'm going to miss so much!" I say. Liam shrugs.
"It's only sometimes you have to sleep over there."
"I knoooow. It's just, I work so late! I only have Sunday off." I say to the green backpack who had just finished cleaning his face.
"You'll be fiiiine. I promise you won't miss too much." Liam says. I nod. Then, Amelia came into the room. She rubbed her eyes.
"Good morning Amie" Liam greets her. She smiles and waves.
"Morning." She says.
We had many names for Amelia, there was Amie, Mimi, Lia, and the one we joke around with was Senty. We all had joke names. Each one was based off the names that the "invisible" host Airy gave us. Backpack, Senty, and me, Soda Bottle.
I quickly put on my bow tie and grabbed one of the leftover muffins from the counter of our small apartment. I then take my handbag and start for the door.
"Bye guys! Love you!" I yell. I didn't want to be late for my first day at work. Plus, it was a long drive to the hotel. Then Liam calls my name and quickly grabs my hand. I quickly turn to see him and Amie both staring at me.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Amie says, raising and eyebrow.
"What? What is it? I don't understand." I say with confusion. Then, both kiss me in the check at the same time.
"Ooooooh. Haha. Sorry. I almost forgot." I say. I then kiss both on the lips and we all do one more kiss together. As we embraced for a moment longer, I felt a surge of gratitude for the unique bond we shared. I was going to miss them, even though it was only for a few hours.
"Okay, NOW good bye." I say, leaving the apartment.
