Where did this friendship even start between you two? You didn't know, but you were very glad it happened. It was probably a chance meeting from all the times Yuta brought his 'sweet little sister' everywhere. Somehow, you and Yuuji ended up at an arcade tonight.
You were nearing the end of a Mario Kart game, you were in the lead, you had a lap to go. I the corner of your eye, you can see a head of bright pink hair jumping up and down right next to you, just waiting for you to finish your race. As soon as you finished, he made sure you got all of your things in your hip bag, before firmly grabbing your hand and started to lead you towards a huge room. "Yuuji, what's in here?" he was still jumping with excitement. "There's soooo many crane machines in here with a bunch of stuffed animals!!!!!" You hold his hand and he holds yours, jumping in a circle as if you were six again. "Which one do you want to go to first, y/n?" Your eyes lit up with an idea. "Yuuji, what if we both had an hour to get five plushies for each other?"
And so that's the plan you settled on.
You're currently 30 minutes in, and you've gotten him 3 things. A small, pink teddy bear holding a bowl of ramen, a plush of Kirby, and a plushie of Keroppi, his favorite Sanrio character. You were currently struggling at a machine which held tons upon tons of One Piece plushies, and you had your eyes on one: Tony Tony Chopper, his favorite Straw Hat. It's so annoying! A little to the left, a bit closer, farther away, you didn't know what worked anymore!
"Such a pain," you thought, until you saw the claw machine finally get a grip on Chopper's little feet, and.. somehow it was attached to another plush of Portgas D. Ace, funnily enough his favorite character of them all, so you were basically finished!
Meanwhile, Yuuji was trying his hand at a claw machine full of teddy bears. "Ugh, come on! Just... get the y/f/c one in the back with the cute heart that says 'I love you!' Come on..." He struggled, and struggled, until he finally got it!
Later that night, you had a sleepover at Yuuji's house (obviously) and you decided after dinner, to surprise each other with the plushies! You both sat on his bed, and you went first. You made him cover his eyes, and then you threw the Kirby plush at him, and then the Keroppi plush, and then the ramen teddy bear, and then the two One Piece characters! He fell back, laughing really hard. "Thank you, y/n! I love the Kirby one, but why Kirby?" You chuckled and replied, "Because your hair is pink, you're cute, and you eat all the time." He can't say no to that, you were right. Now it was his turn. You covered your eyes. First, he handed you a plushie of your favorite character from your favorite tv show/anime. Next, he gave you a plushie of a matching pink teddy bear that's eating ramen! Next was a Kuromi plush, and then a little frog. Now it was time for that heart teddy bear. "Hey, y/n? Can I.. say something first..?" You nodded. "I've uh... i... screw it. I'm in love with you." He smiled, and he hands you the y/f/c teddy bear with the heart that says 'I love you.' "Yuuji..." you blushed. "Can I, kiss you..?" He stammered. You smiled and leaned in, giving him the sweetest kiss.
"I love you lots, Yuuji."
"I like this heart thing I got you, y/n."
"Why's that?"
"Because my heart's all yours now."
