Ice cream Date

Chapter 5
Sheila and Ahmed hop into the car, excited for their ice cream adventure. As they drive, the wind blows through their hair, and the sun shines down on them.

Ahmed turns up the music, and they sing along to their favorite tunes, laughing and enjoying each other's company. The stress of exams and university life melts away, replaced by the joy of the moment.

As they arrive at the ice cream parlor, Sheila grins at Ahmed. "Thanks for driving me here, Ahmed! You're the best!"
Ahmed smiles back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anytime, Sheila. I'm always happy to take you on adventures!"

They step out of the car, and Ahmed opens the door for Sheila, offering his hand to help her out. As she takes it, their hands touch, and Ahmed feels a spark of electricity. He hopes that maybe, just maybe, Sheila will notice the flutter in his chest,Their eyes meet, and for a moment, the world around them melts away. Ahmed's heart beats a little faster, hoping that maybe, just maybe, Sheila will see the secret feelings he's been hiding but she just said thank you again and smiles.
As they scan the colorful menu, Sheila's eyes widen at the countless flavors. "Ooh, decisions, decisions! What are you getting?"
Ahmed grins mischievously. "I'm going for the mango and strawberry. How about you?",Sheila hesitates, then nods. "Mint chocolate chip for me, please!".
With their treats in hand, they find a cozy spot outside, savoring the cold, sweet delight. The stress of exams melts away, replaced by laughter and friendly chatter.

As they lick their cones, Sheila turns to Ahmed with a smile "were you and zarah dating?"
Ahmed's eyes widen in surprise, and he almost choking on his ice cream! He quickly recovers, trying to play it cool. "Uh, no, Sheila! Zarah and I are just friends. We've known each other since highschool , but we've never dated."
Sheila's smile grows wider, and she teases, "Oh, Ahmed, you're so secretive! I was wondering if there was a hidden romance there."
Ahmed laughs, feeling a bit relieved that Sheila is just joking around. "Nope, no hidden romance here! Just friendship."
But as they continue licking their cones, Ahmed can't help but think... maybe Sheila is more interested in him than he thought? The way she asked the question, with a hint of playfulness and curiosity... it's got him wondering, what if?.
