Katsuki POV

First day of high school. Great.

As I walk up to the school, I notice how nice the campus is. It's nothing like that shit hole back in middle school. Everything is so clean and symmetrical around here.

I almost made it to the front of the school, but a familiar voice shouted at me from behind.

"Kacchan!!"

Shit. It's that fucking nerd. How the hell did he make it into UA if he doesn't have a quirk, anyway? Whatever.

I scoff and ignore him to the best of my ability. I can't stand that green-haired nerd one bit. I can feel his presence following me, but I'm not trying to be late to class on the first day, so I just keep walking.

I enter the building with just 6 minutes left before the bell rings. I look down at my schedule to see what class I have and where it's located. Mr. Aizawa? 1-A? Hopefully, it's not across the building.

"Can I see your schedule?"

That same voice.

"No, nerd."

I shove my schedule back into my pocket and start walking to class.

"Oh, I'm going the same way, Kacchan! Let's  walk together!"

I speed up my pace because I don't want to be seen with him. He didn't stop following me the entire way.

Once I got to the class, I opened the freakishly tall door just before the bell rang. I sat in a random spot just for now until the teacher got here. Speaking of, where the hell are they? Isn't the teacher supposed to be here before the students or something?

"Hello, class." A tired, yet annoyed, voice groans.

A man in an ugly yellow sleeping bag stands up at the front of the class. Who the fuck is this guy? Don't tell me he's our teacher...

Murmurs arise from the class as he unzips himself from his sleeping bag.

"I'm your teacher." He says. "Unfortunately..."

He mumbles under his breath, but still loud enough for most of the class to hear.

"Here's your seating chart for the rest of the year."

He points to the whiteboard, which has a projection of a seating chart. I look for my name on the board. Fuck. I'm in front of that stupid nerd. Just who I wanted to sit next to for the whole year.

"Grab your things and move to your assigned seats. I will not be taking requests to change your seats either."

I grab my bag and move a couple of seats up to where my seat is. I sit down and pull out my notebook and a pencil. I feel a hand tap my left shoulder.

"Isn't it cool that we have the same class, AND sit next to each other?"

Deku asks with a wide smile across his face.

"No. Are you going to be bothering me the whole class, or what?"

I snap, turning my head back to my notebook.

"Uh- No..."

[Class goes by and it's now lunch time]

While I'm packing up my stuff to leave for lunch, a hand taps my shoulder once again. I begin to turn my head.

"I already told you to leave me alone ner-"

When my eyes reach theirs, I realize it's not Deku. But actually a spikey red-haired guy with red eyes.

"You did?"

He asked in confusion, raising an eyebrow.

"I... I thought you were someone else. What do you want, shit hair?"

I ask, picking up my bag and slinging it over my shoulder.

"Rude nicknames already? I just wanted to know your name, I'm Eijirou Kirishima!"

He announces with a big toothy grin. So stupid. Why does he care what my name is?

"Katsuki Bakugou. Anything else you need, dumb hair?"

"Woah cool name! No, and my hair isn't that different from yours!!"

He protested with a slight pout.

He walks away to what I'm assuming are his friends. There's a boy with these stupid-looking elbows, one with yellow hair, and a girl with pink skin and raccoon-looking eyes. What freaks. I bet all their quirks are dumb as hell.

I finally made it out of that class and to the cafeteria. It's fucking huge. I find an empty table to sit at so that I won't be bothered. So much for that, I guess.

"Hey Bakugou! Mind if I sit with you?"

The spikey redhead asks.

"Very much so."

"Awe man..."

He frowns and walks over to a different table, where those same people he was with earlier are sitting.

I scoff to myself. I left early because I wasn't planning on eating today anyway. I walk to class and the room is empty. I sit at my desk, take out my homework, and try to get some of it done before class starts. I pull out my earbuds, put them on, and choose a song. "Change" by Flyingfish plays.

Music has always been one of my favorite things about life. It helps me focus and not lash out as often as I usually do. I'm glad it's here to help me, or whatever. Fuck. I'm thinking corny shit again. Screw this.

I finish the last problem and shove my homework back in my bag. I barely heard the teacher walk in because of how loud my music was.

"Bakugou, right? What are you doing in class so early?"

Mr. Aizawa questions as he zips himself into his sleeping bag.

"I left lunch early. I wanted to finish my homework before tomorrow."

I reply, laying my head down into my arms. About 8 minutes passed by till the bell rang. Two minutes later, around half of the class was already in their seats. Aizawa was passed out on the floor.

"I guess this means it's a free class, right?"

The same redhead from earlier.

"Of course not! We need to wake him up and get on with class!"

Some four-eyed guy announced to the class as he stood up.

"Do not wake me up. I don't care what you guys do, just don't be loud."

Aizawa says from the floor.

Free class, awesome. I'm tired as fuck right now. I change the song and let myself fall asleep for the rest of class.
