When I saw Dad and Camilla I ran to hug them both. “It's good to see you guys, Liam had been missing you all summer.” I heard a muffled yell from Liam something like “I DID NOT!” but I ignored it.

Camilla gave me boxes of gifts. “It's because we missed your birthday, I’m sorry we were on that Trip to my hometown.’’ She was talking about the work trip 3 months ago that made them miss my birthday. “It's fine, you're here now. Can I open them?” She nodded when a small blue box caught my eye.

It was decorated with a black flowery ribbon. I wondered what was in it. As I opened the box I saw a small notebook with a drawing that had Camilla’s signature on the bottom left corner.  It was a drawing of a blond boy's back at a park about 16-17 years old. He had looked familiar and I asked who it was, but before she could answer I figured it out. It was a drawing of Felix.

As Camilla answered my question without realizing I already figured it out, she saw my face. I was crying again. As I cried, Prim came to my side and hugged me. Felix came down the stairs slowly and saw me. I was going to speak to him but only I could see him so I would be talking to the air.

“ I miss my best friend-” I managed to say before sobbing even more. “ It's okay Via, he's in a better place now.” Prim started saying before Mom came from the kitchen with Liam and came towards me. Liam stood still in shock when mom hugged me.

A few minutes later I stopped crying and opened the rest of the gifts. I got a few new clothes and a couple painting things along with a stuffed bunny. As they started to leave, I locked eyes with Felix. He was still thinking, I could see his sadness in his eyes. His warm brown eyes.
