As the last echoes of their heated exchange faded into the empty office, YN found herself grappling with a maelstrom of conflicting emotions. Despite the front of defiance she had put up, Jungkook's words had cut deeper than she cared to admit. His concern had struck a chord, awakening a sense of vulnerability she had long sought to bury beneath layers of stoicism.

With trembling fingers, she reached for her phone, her resolve wavering as she hesitated over Jungkook's contact. A flicker of doubt danced in her mind, but she pushed it aside, determined to make amends and seek solace in the familiarity of their friendship.

But as the dial tone echoed through the receiver, her hopes were dashed by the cold reality of Jungkook's silence. Each unanswered ring felt like a dagger to her already fragile resolve, a silent reminder of the growing chasm between them.

With a heavy heart, YN disconnected the call, the weight of rejection settling like a stone in the pit of her stomach. She had reached out in a moment of vulnerability, only to be met with silence and indifference.

Frustration bubbled to the surface, mingling with the sting of rejection as YN tossed her phone aside, her eyes burning with unshed tears. She had expected Jungkook to be there for her, to offer a comforting presence in her time of need. But once again, she found herself facing her demons alone, the silence of the office echoing the emptiness in her heart.

With a weary sigh, YN once again started working with the weight of disappointment heavy on her shoulders. As she stepped out into the cool embrace of the night, she couldn't shake the feeling of loneliness that clung to her like a shadow, a constant companion in her journey through the darkness.

As the hours passed, YN's exhaustion became more and more evident. By the time her secretary, Mr. Kim, arrived in the morning, he was shocked to find her still at her desk.

"Miss YN," he exclaimed, concern etched on his face. "You didn't go home last night, did you?"

YN looked up, her eyes weary but determined. "No, Mr. Kim," she replied, her voice hoarse from lack of sleep. "I had too much work to do."

Mr. Kim sighed, shaking his head. "You need to take better care of yourself, Miss YN. You know you're like a daughter to me. Please, don't overwork yourself."

She forced a smile, but burst into tears and tells him about the argument and declining goint out with her friends; though the argument was normal but her friends cared for her , and what she did? "i am a loser I can't help but give a cold shoulder to my friends . Just because I am not feeling well once again. Those nightmares are haunting me once again it's been 10 years now. I am not stable my emotions are controlling me. It feels like he will come again. I can't help but feel I will lose this time nobody will be there . nobody . N-no -b-od-yy. No-b-body. NOBODY."

Mr.Kim gets tensed and embraces her like YN is his dead daughter. She might be as old as YN now. IF she was alive . "YN-shii, don't cry It's not your fault that you cannot express your feelings your past to your friends and it's okay you want to forget it . If you want to tell their friends tell them , they will respect your fear, your past , your feelings and also that it takes courage to go through it all alone , they won't be angry for a long time that you hid it, you are insecure about it. Tell them , you can seek comfort. They won't refuse to help you , and that you hid it from them . It's all right. Now stop crying and be happy they care for you . Nobody else will they tell you when you are wrong and it will hurt them when you are hurt . Now be happy and wipe your tear. Nobody will bother you . You are safe. Get ready for the new day! Promise me you will tell your friends about your past after or even before the bits are completed? Now, Hwaiting!"
