I walked down the hall ways.
People were staring at me scrutinizing me , over and over.
I hated every second of it!
I pushed my shoulders back and brought my head up , jutting out my chin.
I would not be the weak prey they could hurt.
I would be strong , not weak! and they would know it.
Perhaps it was new found confidence or the fact that I had NaNaNaNa playing at its highest volume in my earphones.
That I was able to keep this way all the way down the hall way to the office.
As I was about to reach for the door handle I heard a growl from some one behind me.
No! Not now!
I had finally made my way , away from the supernaturals , I had finally had a new house , family and life!
Not now of all times!
To be truthful , I wanted it to be not ever...
But I knew I couldn't run from them when I was one.
Water fae...
If I was able to growl at that moment , I would have.
I never wanted to see another of my kind! Scrape that , another supernatural again!
After my family's betrayal!
And then leaving me!
No! Never again! I'm fine thanks! I'm just dandy!
