Y/N woke to the sharp sound of her alarm clock. The sun streamed through the elegant curtains of her spacious bedroom, casting a warm glow on the intricately patterned walls. She groaned, stretching her arms before reluctantly rolling out of bed.
Just as her feet hit the plush carpet, the door swung open, revealing her mother standing in the doorway, arms crossed and eyes narrowed.
"Y/N, this is the third time this week you've slept through your alarm! You have responsibilities, young lady!" Her mother's voice was stern, echoing through the expansive room.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I'll hurry up," Y/N mumbled, rushing to her en suite bathroom.
She quickly showered and dressed for the prestigious U.A High School. Her mother continued to lecture her from the doorway about punctuality and the importance of maintaining their family's reputation.
After hurriedly brushing her hair and grabbing her backpack, Y/N made her way downstairs and went out to the car
The driver was already waiting by the front door, holding it open for her. The car idled in the driveway, and she slid into the backseat, closing the door behind her with a sigh of relief.
The drive to school was uneventful. Y/N stared out the window, watching the world blur by as her mind wandered. She thought about the day ahead - classes, friends, training and study
Finally, the car pulled up in front of the grand entrance of her school. Students milled about, chatting and laughing as they prepared for the day. Y/N thanked the driver and stepped out of the car, ready to face whatever the day had in store for her.
She adjusted her backpack and took a deep breath, steeling herself for another day in the life of Y/N.
Y/N made her way through the bustling corridors of the school, her footsteps echoing against the polished floors. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as students hurried to their classes, their voices blending into a steady hum.
As she reached her classroom, Y/N took a moment to compose herself before pushing open the door. The familiar sight of rows of desks greeted her. Spotting her empty desk near the window, she quickly made her way over and dropped her bag onto the floor beside it.
"Hey, Y/N," came a monotone voice from behind her.
Y/N turned to see her friend Shoto leaning against the doorway, his expression devoid of emotion. His mismatched eyes - one icy blue and the other grey - stared at her blankly.
"Hey, Shoto," Y/N replied, offering him a small smile.
Shoto nodded in acknowledgment before moving to the desk beside hers. The two friends sat in comfortable silence, occasionally exchanging brief comments as they waited for the teacher to arrive.
As the bell rang, Present Mic entered the room, and started teaching. English was boring and easy too, so I didn't focus on it and instead read a novel/manga that I had been reading for the past few days.
(A/N: if you're wondering why I wrote both novel and Manga as options it is because many of you might be reading mangas and some people like me might like novel so I originally wrote novel but then i was like nah, what if some of you are like manga people so I wrote Manga as an option too)

The morning classes passed by in a blur of lectures and note-taking, and before Y/N knew it, lunchtime was approaching. The bell rang, signaling the end of the last class before the break, and she gathered her belongings, ready to head to the cafeteria with Shoto.
As they made their way through the crowded hallways, weaving through throngs of students, Y/N felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Izuku Midoriya, Tenya Iida, and Uraraka Ochako standing behind them, wearing friendly smiles.
"Hey, Y/N, Todoroki! Do you guys want to join us for lunch?" Izuku asked eagerly, his green eyes shining with enthusiasm.
Y/N exchanged a glance with Shoto before shaking her head. "Thanks for the offer, but we already have plans. Maybe next time."
Tenya nodded in understanding, his glasses glinting in the fluorescent lights. "Of course, we understand. Perhaps another time then."
Uraraka smiled warmly. "Yeah, no problem! Just let us know if you ever want to join us."
Y/N watched as their classmates headed off to find a table, feeling a twinge of guilt for declining their offer. They made their way to their usual spot in the cafeteria.
As they settled, Shoto said to Y/N with a puzzled expression. "Why did you refuse to sit with Midoriya and the others?"
Y/N hesitated for a moment, searching for the right words. "I don't know, I just didn't feel like it today," she replied casually, trying to brush off the question.
But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it than just not feeling like it. She couldn't help but wonder if shoto would like to sit with other people. It was like he was purposefully distancing himself from others. Part of her wanted to sit with them but part of her thought about shoto.
Shoto nodded, seemingly accepting her answer without further inquiry. "Fair enough."
As she stole a glance at Shoto, his expression unreadable as ever, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something deeper going inside the boy, something that was eating him up from the inside. She felt like she wanted to, no, she needed to know it. Brushing that off she spoke,
"So um shall we go and see what there is to eat today?" She questioned, nervousness and embarrassment mixed in her voice as she thought Todoroki didn't want you eat with her. He nodded with a small "sure"
Y/N and Todoroki made their way to the cafeteria line, joining the queue of hungry students eager for lunch. As they waited, Todoroki leaned in and quietly mentioned, "They're serving curry and rice today, with a variety of side dishes to choose from.
Curry is a flavorful dish with a complex blend of spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and chili powder. It's often mixed with a sauce made from tomatoes, coconut milk, or yogurt. Curry can include proteins like chicken, beef, lamb, or vegetables, and is known for its rich, aromatic flavors, ranging from mild to spicy, depending on the ingredients and spices used. It's commonly served with rice.
And for the side dishes, they have crispy vegetables that are battered and fried.
And they also have lightly pickled radish"Y/N nodded, her stomach growling at the thought of a warm and hearty meal. "Sounds good. I could go for some curry today."
Todoroki and Y/N finally reached the front of the long lunch line, each with a tray filled with curry and rice, accompanied by crispy vegetable tempura and lightly pickled radishes. Balancing their trays carefully, they made their way to their usual table, where they settled in and began to eat. Y/N took a bite of the curry, savoring the rich flavors, and couldn't help but compliment Lunch Rush's culinary skills. "This curry is amazing," she remarked, smiling at Todoroki. "I love the way the spices blend together."
