Elijah, Klaus, and Kol sat in silence, waiting for their sisters' report on Lilac. The only form of communication was the disappointed stair from Elijah at Klaus and the occasional snicker from Kol.

Eventually, their sister came down, and immediately Klaus and Elijah shot up, Klaus headed towards the stairs before Rebekah stopped him with an arm.

"Rebekah, get out of the way." He gritted through his teeth.

"No, Nik. She needs some time alone. To have fun without you two lurking over her. "

Klaus only looked more angry.

"Rebekah, get out of the way." He repeated.

"Oh, leave her be Klaus. You can't control everyone all the time, and she wishes to be alone. Give her space."

"Why don't you wnat me near her Elijah. I thought you'd be happy, I don't hate her anymore."

"No offence, Niklaus, but wherever you go, trouble follows. Many hate you, and you're not a nice person. Lilac's a good person, she doenst deserve to be dragged along while you kill over and over again. But, go in, lie Klaus, tell me you'd stop killing for her, stop searching for a way to break the curse."

Elijah knew Klaus would never stop, not for anyone.

"She can have one week." Klaus said before going to wlak away, yet near Elijah he leaned into his ear, "and for the record, I would. I'd stop everything for her."

Klqus was sure of it. If Lilac cam eup to him and said she'd be with him if he never killed again. He wouldn't. He wouldn't even try to break his curs if she asked. Amd. That's the moment when he knew he was in love.

Elijah couldn't help but stare at him as he walked upstairs.

Elijah knew there was a possibility Klaus was telling the truth, but it was very doubtful, at least, that's what he thought.

"Elijah didn't like the fact that we were together because I'm a killer, didn't want you to be dragged into my mess. After seeing us fighting, you were quite upset. You ran off, and I promised Elijah I wouldn't talk to you for a week. However, I just couldn't help myself."

"So, Klaus Mikaelson's making food. This is new. I guess this has something to do with the beautiful girl lying upstairs." Rebekah said to her brother Klaus, who was making food for the first time in years.

He didn't respond as he handed Rebekah the plate, "Give that to her, make sure she eats it."

He said before rushing off upstairs.

Klaus couldn't stop himself from going out of his room. He had tried, he just couldn't. Yet as he went to reach for her door.

"No, Nikluas. You said a week." Rebekah practically spat out.

Usually, if his sister tried to talk back, he'd threaten her, but she was right. So he only walked away with a scowl.

The next day, Lilac didn't come out of her room. Klaus was worried about her, but with his brother watching his every move, he couldn't exactly go and see her.
