The soft glow of dawn peeked through the curtains, casting a warm light on my room as I stirred awake. Another school day awaited me, filled with routines and unexpected twists.

After getting ready, I made my way to school, the familiar path leading me to encounters that would shape my day. As I approached the school building, a familiar sight caught my eye – Caleb and Tristan, standing together in conversation.

My initial instinct was to greet Tristan first, as I always did. However, a wave of excitement from the second floor balcony drew my attention.my new friends with beaming smiles, eagerly awaited my arrival, their gestures signaling me to join them.

“hey Camilla Good morning!”  Tristan called out, flashing a grin as he observed my dilemma. I offered a quick smile in return, Feeling the pressure of conflicting priorities, I made a split-second decision to ascend to the second floor, leaving Tristan and Caleb momentarily behind.

Caleb murmurs to Tristan saying “looks like Camilla has some popular admirers up there”

Reaching the second floor, I was met with a chorus of cheers and waves from my new friends, beckoning me to join them Ignoring the puzzled look on Caleb's face.

As the minutes ticked by, the class president's voice cut through the chatter, signaling the start of the day. “Attention everyone, its 7:50 Please make your way to your seats for the first period” she announced, her authoritative tone silencing the room.

The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation as me and maxine  settled into our seats, the usual banter and laughter filling the room. Taking my place behind, Maxine I couldn't escape the murmurs that rippled through the classroom.

“Did you hear about Caleb and his girlfriend?” one of my classmates whispered, her eyes wide with intrigue. “they broke up just after one day!”
