When I was walking the dangerous streets of Boston, I didn't know I would find a poor, innocent-looking stray dog. I had just came from the bakery and had a few loaves of bread and 2 dozen cupcakes for my mom's birthday. There was a dog in an alleyway beside the bakery. The dog was laying there looking starved and tired. I, being an animal person, put a piece of bread on the ground close to her so she could eat it. At first she was just looking at it like she was scared of what it might be. Then, with a tucked tail, she went over, smelled it, decided it wasn't dangerous, and ate it. "Here puppy," I called. She looked up from her food and kinda growled like she didn't trust me. I took a step back then I started to walk a little closer. She became frightened and ran into a box 2 or 3 yards away. I could tell she was scared of people and I didn't want her to hurt herself, so I started walking back home. When I was about 4 blocks away from my mansion, I heard clattering behind me. When I looked back, there was that little stray dog. As much as I loved that puppy, mom and dad would never in their lives bring in a stray. In order to live with us, a dog would have to be a pedigree and have papers. In case you can't tell, my parents are SUPER picky about what types of dogs they have. Plus, all the dogs we do get end up going into dog shows and if they don't get 1st place, they are off to the pound. I hate seeing them go, but I have no control over what my parents do and don't do. When I was about 2 blocks, I heard more clattering. I figured it was the puppy, but when I looked back, I saw a man and a woman. The man was trying to rob the woman with a gun. The dog perked her ears up and sprinted towards the man and woman. She jumped at the man and was biting and barking and growling all at the same time. It was so loud that my parents probably heard it. But I bet any money they didn't care what was going on unless it involved them getting money. The dog wasn't even 2 feet and yet here she was taking on a 6 foot man. It was like that dog in the alley and this dog weren't the same. Maybe it was a twin, but it couldn't have been. She had more bravery on her than any dog I had ever seen. It's amazing how quickly an animal can change.
