day 4

also some reminders you're 20 and work at your friends warehouse that sells products

It's been about 2 or 3 days since I saw toji but I couldn't seem to get the thoughts about him out of my head... He was so tall and handsome and his voice. Oh his voice! But then while I was busy day dreaming I forgot he had gave me his number so I immediately went and grabbed my phone and scrolled through my call log

I didn't have his name saved yet but I press a random number hoping its the right one

I press call and put the phone to my ear as I wait for him to pick up, just hearing the phone ring makes my heart rush and panic

What am I going to say? What if I stutter, what if he has a girlfriend what if-

Then all my over thinking is cute off by the sound of a slightly familiar deep voice "hello,? Who's this?"

I stay silent for a few minutes trying to gather my words together before blurting out "H-HI" I hear a chuckle from the other end of the line, "y/n? Is that you?"

I reply "Mhm yep it's me! " UGH I SOUND SO AWKWARD BUT WHAT ELSE DO I SAY? I NEED TO ACT MORE CALM.

his voice starting to sound a little worried "hey are you free today y/n? " I reply "no why? "

"Good meet me at the ice cream shop near your neighborhood" did he know where I stay? And how? But I didn't question it in the moment I was just ready to see him already

I agreed and quickly hung up and got dresses

I decided to wear this shirt black dress I had, I look myself in the mirror, I haven't wore this since I was with my ex mmahit... But we don't talk of him anymore, he's for the gutters

I quickly did my makeup hopped in my car and drove to the ice cream store toji told me to meet him at I didn't see him so I texted him

Y/n:wru?

Toji:I'm here wru?

Y/n:I'm in my car

Toji:what car?

Y/n:the black one

Toji:ahhh I see you princess

I then saw tonight come from around a corner and look at me through my tinted windows but I don't think he was able to see me through the tint

He walked up to my car and tapped on the window I rolled it down and tried to act casual and not too awkward "hey"

He rested his arms on my window and titled his head at me "hey princess, let's get some ice cream shall we? " I nod my head and he opens my door and holds his hand out waiting for my hand to lay in his. He's such a gentleman. Or so I thought.....

We walked in the ice cream shop and I automatically got cold and started walking with my arms folded
"Cold princess?"

"No... I'm not.. I'm fine" I lied because I'd feel guilty if I took his jacket. But he took off his jacket anyways and out it around my shoulders then patting me on the head like I was a dog. I didn't know either to find that cute or offensive. But he was fine so I rolled with it

After we made our way to the counter I gazed up at the menu the see what ice cream u wanted. So many options! I couldn't chose!

Tomi looked at me smirking "you look puzzled princess, but you look like you'd like this one" he points the a ice cream called strawberry cheesecake delight. it sounds delicious but I'm a bit stubborn so I shrugged "sure I'll try it"

He smiles as he orders his ice cream he just got basic vanilla, maybe he felt basic today

The worker at the cash register compliments us and says were a cute couple, me and to him look at each other and I say "were not a couple unfortunately. " while toji just says thank you.

What did he mean by that? I glanced at him and he was looking at me with a grin on his face, THIS GUY! I just met him but he's a little silly

The cashier then says "your total is 17.81" I go to my purse to grab my wallet but toji stops me "please, let me, I insist" his voice was so soft and charming I couldn't resist but I felt a bit guilty for it

We then say down and enjoyed our ice cream I didn't wait a second longer to into mines and it was soooo good  but I didn't want to over exaggerate so I just played it off like it was nothing

"You like the ice cream princess?"
He asks me looking actually quite concerned "yea it's good thank you for paying by the way, that was really sweet" he smiles at me "I'm glad you liked it, it's one of my favorites I was about to get you a different one if you didn't like it, and don't worry you didn't deserve to pay anyway, besides I was the one who asked you to he here"

He was so sweet and thoughtful I felt sort of guilty about how nice he was why was he being so nice to me? But I still felt guilty for making him pay for the ice cream "hey toji how can I repay you? I can give you a ride home if you'd like?"

Toji looks at me looking worried and confused "don't worry you don't have to give me a ride home but you could repay me by staying a night at my place? I'd be nice to have some company"

My heart froze. Toji? Wants me? At his house? I mean how could I resist?
I quickly agreed and I offered him to take my car and he agreed like he was a little kid getting taken to the candy store

We walked to my car and he opened the door for me and helped me inside. While he got in on the drives side and when he got in he took a second to look around the car and then texted something into his phone

I kinda got jealous of who he was texting, or who I thought he was texting but I didn't think to much of it because I wanted to enjoy my time with him

He drove us to my apartment complex and I looked at him confused and worried. He looked at me "what's wrong? You look like you never seen apartments before" I shook my head and looked at him nothing I'm just confused I thought we were going to your house?" He looks at me and smiles "we are I live here" I sigh in relief "oh phew I thought you were a stalker or something" u laughed it off while his smiles just dropped and just ignored my joke

He came and opened my door and escorted me to his apartment just a coincidence he lives one floor above me with the same room number

He guided me inside and it was surprisingly clean, the last guys house I was in.. Oh don't even get me started on his house. Mahito barley did his own dishes so I was surprised how clean tojis apartment was
