A silver Eevee groaned, lifting her head as she blinked her brown eyes. She squinted, blinding by the brightness of the day, as well as the large waterfall pouring into a small lake in front of her.

As she moved to sit up, she fumbled over herself, landing with his chin straight into the grass once more. Growling in frustration, she glanced down at her legs. That was when she noticed.

Her paws. Paws? That wasn't right. She knew for a fact that she was human... or used to be, anyway. After glaring at her paw-pads for a few seconds, the Eevee struggled to stand. After a few wobbles, on all fours, she approached the pond. There she noticed her reflection.

An Eevee. An Eevee?! How on earth was she an Eevee?! A shiny one, at that. Flattening her ears behind her head with a scowl, she glared at her silver reflection in irritation. Whatever was going on; the fact that she was colored abnormally would definitely get her more attention than she would want.

She sat down and glanced up at the sky. She knew she had been human... she couldn't wrap her head around being a pokemon. But... Whenever she tried to recall anything about her human life, she couldn't. Everything was blank. She couldn't even remember why she was here.
This had to be a dream. A really weird dream. Why on earth would she become an Eevee?

The Eevee flinched, her silver fur bristling the moment she heard a crash deeper into the forest. She whirled around, although nothing caught her attention right away. Pausing with caution, she kept quiet, eventually picking up sounds of voices in the distance. Her immediate reaction was to brace herself.

She couldn't make out what was being said, although she wasn't going to take any chances. If she remained quiet, maybe, whatever it was, would leave her be.

It was slightly surprising, in a way. She could hear and smell things better than she realized. Whatever had fallen was definitely close. Not sure of whether she should've stood her ground or ran, she decided to play the caution card. Keeping where she was, she glanced down into the pond once more. Still a Pokemon.

The Eevee frowned, frustration spreading out on her face at her reflection. In a quiet rage, she swiped at the water, blurring herself in the liquid as she turned away from the pond. If this was a dream, it was lasting far too long for her liking.

It wasn't until then that she realized she was suddenly parched. She gave a hesitant glance at the pool of water, then around to make sure no one was watching her, then slowly padded up to the water and began drinking. Whatever had been nearby had seemed to go on its way. Either that, or the chatter had just ended. She kept alert, anyway.

She was startled out of her thoughts when a different pokemon call rang through the forest, startling her and causing her fur to fluff up. She glanced to her left, seeing a tan, hovering, Pokemon next to the other side of the pool of water. Where did that thing come from?! The Eevee glanced from the Pokemon to the pool, then back at the Pokemon, not saying anything.
After a few seconds two of the same type of Pokemon joined the first, and they began flickering the lights on the ends of their arms in a group. The Eevee tilted her head, confused as to why they were here and what they were doing.

Almost as soon as they had started, the Pokemon had stopped interacting with each other and went for the Eevee. The first attack caught her off guard, causing her to yelp and step back in surprise. Another one also attacked, and the Eevee began to grow flustered. The third one advanced, and that was when she decided to bail. These Pokemon were crazy, and she was not sticking around to get beat up by them. She made a run for it and ran the opposite direction, deeper into the forest, the three Pokemon still on her trail.

She kept running, running until she accidentally bumped into a Pokemon on his walk through the forest, sending them both tumbling to the ground.

"Whoa!!" The brown, grass type Pokemon exclaimed when he was knocked down.
