After a sugary breakfast, Celine went to her first lesson with Professor McGonnigal, along with Susan Bones who intertwined her fingers letting Celine happily skip to class as she guided her.

Entering, the professor set her on the cornermost table where she could focus on other basics of Transfiguration as the other children did their tests. She was given a small diary of basics of the course, telling her to sit and raise her hand if she needed assistance.

Throughout the class she read the book at an alarming pace, McGonigal keeping an eye on her throughout was too surprised when she didn't raise a hand at all. By the end of the lesson, Professor had called Celine to stay back. 'Did you understand what was the context of the book Celine?' She asked, her voice unsure. Before the silver haired girl could open her mouth the giant wooden door opened revealing Snape in his dark glory. The sudden noise shook Celine as she quickly hid behind the McGonnigal's green cape out of instinct . 'Sorry dear, I didn't mean to scare you' Snape said in worry looking at the shaking figure he had come to take.

'Its fine' she mumbled as she came to her previous position. 'Before anything else, Celine do you need help in transfiguration?' She shook her head not confusing both the adults who stood there. 'I understood the text' she said, taking out her silver wand from the side of her cape. 'Do you want me to demonstrate?' She asked, as the two nodded she began her spell. 'Anvanta homolexa' she said lightly, all the animals in the room warped into mugs of different sorts in an instant, leaving the two teachers baffled. 'imobifices' she said again, turning the mugs back to the origin forms. 'I think if I try hard enough I could turn myself into a bird' she said looking down at her hands.

The two were astonished, how could a child who had never had prior teaching in the subject of magic know it well enough to do better than most people who had learned for much longer than her? It was fascinating and amazing. She was truly a 'genius', being able to memorize a book she had read only once, and being able to perform complex spells children her age would have great difficulties doing like it is the easiest thing.

'Splendid' was all Mcgonnigal could say, she looked at the child with an astounded smile as she murmured the words. 'You have done remarkably Ms. Celine' she said, reaching her hand out and gently patting her head. Celine shook for a moment, thinking of a painful impact on her body, but the feeling of a warm hand caressing her head made her feel warm and fuzzy.

She reached out her hand and held Minerva's there on her head lightly. Surprising the two teachers who looked at her with surprise. She snuggled her hand to Mcgonnigle's as she soaked in the subtle warmth. The woman smiled and bent down to meet the child's eyes, her hand rubbing her head a little more, 'I'm proud of you Celine' she said with a warm smile, which only grew as she saw the subtle yet true happy expression of the small girl. 'Would you go with Professor Severus for your Potions class child?' She gently asked as she got up.

Celine nodded as she looked up at the dark-haired man with doe eyes melting his heart completely. He smiled, surprising the woman beside him as he reached out his hand for the young girl. 'Come with me Celine' he said lightly, a little jealous of Minerva's interaction with Celine, wanting her to smile at him as well.

She followed him to the potions classroom which was empty. 'Today you will not be making any potions' he said. Celine looked at him confused much to his amusement 'I want you to tell me about yourself' he said gently with a smile that was most unlike him. 'How so professor' she asked confused, 'tell me about what all you like, what you enjoy to do in your free time, the friends you have made here in Hogwarts and what subjects you are most exited about. Anything really, you cannot know potions unless you know yourself' he rambled. Just wanting to see a small smile on her face was enough for him. Already feeling protective over her. 'And on that note, when you are with me alone or with Professor lupin, you can call us 'Uncle'' he grinned with a stupid smile.

She then continued, sipping on tea as she sat in the comfy cushioned seat she spoke about her favorite foods and her time at Hogwarts. 'Susan Bones, Crabe, Goyle, Pansy, Cederic, Hanna, George and Fred are my friends' she started off, telling Snape about the interesting things they say and did. About Crabe and Goyle always trying to find things to eat, Cederic always telling her about fun stories and myths from the magical world, Susan and Hanna always making her hair and dressing her up in their chambers in the Hufflepuff dormitory, as well as the funny pranks Fred and George told her about. Snape sat with a small smile simply listening to her speak so happily, always responding to her with a nod and a few words of confirmation that he was invested.

She never stopped talking about Draco and Blaise, much to Snape's dismay and disapproval of the two boys. They did not match his standards to be her mates in his eyes but never voiced their opinions when he heard her speak so fondly of them. 'They always worry for me, whenever I don't want to see these scars, they always wrap them up for me, whenever I get hurt or feel down they hug me and tell me beautiful things about myself. And they get angry on my behalf' she said. Her smile beamed more as she thought about the two boys. Snape made it a mental note to be harsher on the two boys to shape to to be absolutely perfect for the small angel in front of him.

'I Never had sweets before, it was Mom. I mean Ms. Malfoy who made me eat food that was not rotten or stale for the first time.' She smiled with delight thinking of the sweet hot chocolate she drank on her first day at the Malfoy manor, after Lucius had rescued her from the cramped cabinet.

'I love the small hard candies,  Mr. Malfoy, sneaked in when Draco and Blaise took my candy away in worry I would damage my teeth..' she looked down

Snape, hearing what she had said felt rage dripping out his body but he kept it in. 'What do you mean stale food child?' He asked, his angry voice as soft as he could keep it to not scare the delicate girl away. She looked up in confusion 'Uncle and aunt never let me eat food that was not about to be thrown away or not bad. They said it was what I deserved.' She mumbled, shutting her eyes tightly as to not remember the memory of the time she was beaten up for trying to eat a slice of soft bread that had fallen on the kitchen floor.

He was angry was an understatement, his knuckles were white with the amount of pressure he put on them to not burst his anger and terrify the girl. He reached his other hand out and ruffled her hair a little 'As long as you are here with us, you won't have to ever relive those memories. And if you miss the Malfoy and Zabini coupe, don't worry, she should be coming on guardian day. Plus winters are approaching so you should go back for Yule in two months time' he finished.

As he kept the tea pot and cups back a knock was heard 'come in' he said, his back turned to reveal Draco and Blaise coming in and walking towards Celine with a bright smile.'Angel' Blaise spoke as he rushed to her, caging her within his arms as draco came and held her waist, hoisting her up to his in a heartbeat as he looked down with a smile 'had a good day?' He asked. Celine nodded as she looked at Snape who was busy glaring at the two boys. 'Thank you Professor Snape' she bowed. He returned the goodbye as she went to the dining hall with the two boys.

'How was your day?' She asked, her voice with pure curiosity. 'Boring without you baby' replied Draco with a warm smile. She blushed and hid her face on Blaise's shoulder. They lightly teased her while making her eat some snacks they had gotten along the way, soon joined by their friends on the table happily enjoying their own bubble.
