In the bath Kacey played with the white bubbles laying on water, she picked some up with her palm and blew it, it sprayed everywhere include the bathroom mirror. As the bubbles dissolved a curved line drawn on the mirror appeared, by something that couldn't be seen with the naked eye or rather that it felt it necessary to not be seen.

A second line drawn through the first line, a slanted cross once more. She got out the ivory tub and wrapped a grey colored towel around her torso, walked over to the mirror where this hint was gone due to the bath's steam.

She stood at the sink and wiped a hand across the mirror, she stared at her face purple under her eyelids from sleepless nights. A dream, a reoccurring one, about a tall man was staring at a woman with a slim face, no eyes, and a pair of eyeballs on her wings. It wasn't particularly frightening it had just made her think each time she had the dream, about what it meant. Was it a sign or some sort of warning what's to come? She thought.

Shuffling bare foot into her bedroom as her feet made wet footprints against the wooden floor; taking out her clothes from her cupboard and got dressed she headed downstairs for breakfast.

Observing the events below, she stood at the top of the stairs.

"We need to get out of her, Marceline," a man with sleeked back hair and British accent pulled at Fitz's arm.

"Dad, stop it, I'm alright," Fitz told him and Kacey recognized the man as Mr. Fitzgerald as the rest of residents joined her.

"What's going on?" Eliza asked rubbing at her eyes with her arm.

"The Kapnos demon's sleep spell has worn off," Mandisa informed them.

"No we leaving right now Marceline, I don't know what the bloody hell is going on here but I know it's not safe here," Mr. Fitzgerald seethes while trying to pull her out the front door.

"Okay, I'll come with you," Fitz caves and asks if she can say goodbye to her friends.

The residents make their way downstairs and Fitz gave each of them a hug although with Kacey she whispered in her ear, I'll be back.

Fitz got into the back seat of the car though Mr. Fitzgerald questioned her she said that she would like to sleep.

"I know they are your friends but something doesn't sit right with me," he tells her driving on the road through the forest.

"I know, Dad, I'm going to sleep okay," she takes off her pink jacket and white tshirt and makes a ball out of it assembling it on the seat behind her.

"Yurasil osebaba balik jib," she whispers at the back seat, a translucent hole appears and she climbs through it.

"Took you long enough," Kacey says to Fitz climbing through the portal she made on the kitchen table, in her bra, Akira handed his jacket to her and she thanked him.

"By the time he realizes you gone, the Rip in location will activate," Jiro says pulling apart his pancakes with his chopsticks and Kacey ruffles his hair.

"Yup! I want pancakes too," Fitz says and they tuck into their breakfast.

Kacey turned and tossed in her sleep as midnight grew closer. She sighed, staring up at the ceiling above her with her eyes wide open. A bright light appeared next to her bed, she used her arms to shy away from the light that felt like the sun burning against her flesh.

"Do not be afraid!" a voice erupted from this ball of light, so loud that she feared the residents would awake at any moment. The light seemed to fade as an image of man's face appeared sharp pointed nose with full lips dark chocolate colored skin, three sets of wings; one pair covering the top of his face like a mask, one pair covering his feet and the other flapped as he flew.

"Who are you?" Kacey asked unfazed by his appearance and more worried if he was friend or foe.

"Raphael, I am here to tell you the time is near," an angelic voice answered her.

"What for?" she asked with furrowed brows.

"Your Angelos Transfiguration," he answered and seemingly disappeared before her eyes.

The next morning Kacey revealed to the other residents about what had happened and Mandisa told her that the Angelos Transfiguration is a transformation of the reincarnated souls into their true angel form.

"I'm an angel?" Kacey mumbled biting into a piece of toast.

"But I don't want to be an angel, I have to be good and stuff," she swallowed and groaned.

At midnight she couldn't sleep and rather than wait for Raphael to return she began to doze off, he then reappeared in front of her and explained the process of the Angelos Transfiguration.

"You are the reincarnation of Hela or Itzpapalotl as the Aztecs used to say. She is the offspring of a fallen angel and a human, she is also the goddess of Death," he began to say.

"You need to unlock the Seven Gates of Ruhkan, the first gate is the Spyna, I need you to mediate," he added.

"You mean like yoga, I'm not really good at the down what dog," Kacey said with furrowed brows.

Not minding her comment he continued to say, "Sit up, close your eyes and concentrate on the area in the middle of your spine,"

Silence, Kacey scrunched up her eyes and concentrated to no avail.

"I don't think it's working," she said and he hushed her

"Concentrate," he simply stated.

"What's that feeling?" she asked after an hour of her sitting in one place and mediating.

"It's working," he said surprised.

"Wait, I see a ball of light, what is that?" Hands flailing in front of her, eyes closed.

"Yes concentrate on it, the shape and the colour, let it grow bigger," he informed her with a hand on her shoulder.

"Its orange almost like a small ball of fire, wait, it's getting bigger ouch-" she arched her back like a cat stretching after a nap and held a hand in the middle of her back.

The same thing happened when she unlocked the Bele Gate, located on her bellybutton with a small ball of green fire, Trai Gate on her heart with a red flame, a blue flame on her throat of her Hal Gate, Tri Ojo Gate was purple in the middle of her forehead and a white flame on the crown of her head of the Choro Gate. There was one gate left to open and though each took their time she managed to successfully open them and her appearance started changing.

Kacey's body became slimmer like that of a supermodel, her hips curved out shaping an hourglass figure, her voice became thicker and raspy, and her hair had streaks of white in it.

"You look so pretty!" Fitz squealed twirling a strand of her white hair around her finger.

"Not that you weren't pretty before-" Akira began to say and Fitz continued to say that Kacey wasn't that pretty before.

"Well, gee, thanks" Kacey said her voice full of sarcasm.

"So you have one gate left?" Colchester asked while eating a slice of toast with marmalade on it.

"Yup, the Sant Gate, it's located on the heels of my feet," she told him one morning for breakfast.

The ritual began as usual she sat in bed and meditated concentrating on the heels of her feet, it glowed yellow but disappeared as soon as it appeared.

"Yeah, its not working," she sighed and threw her hands up in surrender.

"It seems you heart is muddled with hatred," he told her and added that they should try again tomorrow.

"Hatred?" she said confused as he disappeared.
