Luke's pov
Yesterday was very interesting and who is in the kitchen its like six thirty in the morning!! "Calum?" I ask. "Oh, uh, hey Luke" he says. "What are you doing up so early mate?" I asked him groggily. "Lukester how've you been buddy?" Rochelle asks. Oh no!!! "Luke do you remember my older sister?" Cal asks me. "Yes I do remember her, she always seemed to love torturing me. Why is she here exactly?" I asked Cal. "My baby bro needs me to do something for him" Rochelle says shrugging. "I'm not even going to ask" Mikey says going right for the fridge. "So did you boys have fun last night?" Rochelle asks us. "Rochelle so nice to meet you again" Ash says annoyed. Yeah Ash, Mikey, and I were Rochelle's main targets when we were all growing up, so its safe to say we don't like her. "A pleasure so see you again Ashton" Rochelle says.
Hayes's pov
'Hey you kid' a guy says walking towards me. 'Yes?' I asked him. 'Tell your boyfriend and his little friends to lay off the Sarah Espinosa case or else got it' he says. 'What are you talking about?' I asked him. 'Just tell them to back down' he says and then leaves but not before hitting me in the jaw.
Yesterday wasn't the best for me and I'm suppose to meet up with Luke today, maybe I should cancel? No I can do this just have to find a way to hide the bruise. Niall's sister-in-law is here maybe she can help. I quickly rush out of my house and to the hotel Niall's family is staying at. "Wow where's the fire?" Greg asks me. "Your wife can she help cover up this bruise on my jaw? I don't want Luke to see and then worry" I asked him. "Um yeah she should be in our hotel room" he says and I quickly rushed to the elevator.
After an hour of Niall's sister-in-law trying to get me to tell her what happened and her covering the bruise I was finally able to meet up with Luke. "Hey" Luke says. "Hi" I said. Should I even tell him about last night? No, he doesn't know about Sarah. "Hayes are you alright babe?" Luke asks cutting me from my thoughts. "Yeah but can we swing by Matt's really fast?" I asked and he nodded his head. Once we got to Matt's we walked in and I headed for the kitchen where I knew Matt would be. "Hey Hayes what's up?" Matt asks. "Listen I need to ask you something?" I said as Luke sat down at the island looking around the kitchen. "Sure what is it?" Matt asks me. "Are you re-opening your sisters case?" I asked him. "How did you know about that?" he asks doing a spit take with his orange juice. Luke looked at Matt confused but didn't ask. "Because some guy threatened me on my way home Matt" I said. "Who?" Matt asks me. "I don't know because I was terrified out of my mind" I said. "I need to know what happened to my sister Hayes" Matt says. "Are you guys talking about the Sarah Espinosa case?" Luke asks startling us. "Yes, how did you know?" Matt asks him. "My older brother is a detective along with Cal's older sister" Luke says shrugging. "Luke" I said. "I was curious one day so when my brother took me to work with him I snooped around the building and there was a file labeled Sarah Espinosa so I read it" Luke says. "Luke-" "Some of the things written in it didn't make any sense and some of the evidence was missing and some of it had been tampered with, I don't know what's going on but someone is trying to hide or cover something up" Luke says. "Luke where is your brother now?" Matt asked him. "Oh he was killed during a drug bust last year" Luke says. "Luke I need you tell me exactly what you know" I said.
Ashton's pov
"Ok well it seems this case is missing stuff and the rest is placed" Rochelle says. "Hey where's Jordan? I always thought you two were like a package deal when it came to this kinda stuff?" Mikey asks her. "Jordan was killed during a drug bust" Rochelle mumbles. "Luke never said anything about this to us" Cal says. "Guys the case" Rochelle says. "I think I know where she might be" Matt says as Luke and Hayes follow behind him. "Where?" Rochelle asks. "There's a cabin in the woods near the park we were at last night" Matt says. "Matt-" "People don't come back from that cabin sane, alive, or the same again" Matt says cutting Rochelle off. Cal got up from the couch and lead Matt down the hall to his room. "I'll go check the cabin out" Rochelle says and walks out the door with Luke following her.
Luke's pov
"Rochelle be safe" I said. "You know I said the same thing to your brother when we went to our separate destinations" she says sighing. "Listen I may not like you Rochelle but you made my brother happy" I said. "I know kid, oh and if I don't come back call the cops just don't tell Cal or Logan" she says. "I promise I'll call the cops" I said. She smiled and then walked towards her car. Rochelle and Jordan were engaged but kept it a secret until they were ready and that day Jordan was killed was the day they were going to tell both of their families. I feel terrible because now Logan doesn't have a dad and Rochelle is finding it hard to find someone else like my brother, in all honesty I think she just doesn't want to meet anyone else. "So what did you talk about with Rochelle?" Hayes asks startling me. "My brother and Rochelle were engaged and they have a kid but please don't tell the others don't even tell Calum" I pleaded. "I won't" he says. "Guys what are you two talking about?" Ash asks us. "About the trouble Luke went through just find me" Hayes says. "Oh don't get me started about that, Cal and I were worried Luke had lost his mind" Ash says.
