The three girls strode in the auditorium during lunch. Maeve started to run toward the piano the minute it was in her view. Jane and Thea made eye contact with one another with a small smile on their faces as they heard their friend giggling while running toward the piano.

Jane and Thea planned to hide in the very back row where the audience sat. They decided the minute they heard someone coming in they would hunch themselves behind the chairs so the mystery person wouldn't see them.

Maeve felt safe knowing her friends were very protective over her. She decided to start playing this song she kept listening to nonstop.

Song:Underwater Wonderscapes by Frederic Bernard

Maeve had studied the sheet music for this song last night, she even wrote them down on a piece of paper in case she forgot some part of the song. Sometimes when she closed her eyes, she didn't even need the paper there in front of her, she had a picture of it in her head.

Before she learned to play piano, she used to watch performances on TV. The first time she saw it, it was like a light switch was turned on in her heart. The feeling she got from listening to it was accelerating.

The first time she was able to play it was in middle school, her music teacher, Ms.Olsen noticed the little girl's interest in piano. So the following day she brought her keyboard in the classroom and played a song for the kids.

When the class had left for break, she called Maeve over to the keyboard. She allowed and taught Maeve to play a simple part of Mary had a Little Lamb. The second Maeve was able to play the intro of the song she laughed and wrapped her arms around Ms.Olsen as a way to thank her. Ms.Olsen was shocked by the little girl's actions but smiled warmly toward her and hugged the girl back.

After that following day, Ms.Olsen began to give Maeve piano lessons during lunch and sometimes after school. She didn't have to worry about her mom since the school wasn't so far from her home. Ms.Olsen got the chance to tell Etta about her daughter's passion on the piano on their last day of school.

So if Maeve ever got the chance to play something beautiful with her fingers which were aching, she took it.

She perched over the keys and began to play. The second she touched the keys she felt like she was in heaven. Like the day before, she didn't notice a figure slowly walking toward her as she played.

Jane noticed that it was the same boy from yesterday, she began to slightly shake Thea's shoulder and whispered "It's loverboy!!"

Thea took a peak and her eyes went wide since she began to recognize the boy walking towards her best friend.

Maeve felt as if she could get lost in all the keys that she continued to play until a sound of cough disrupted her thoughts. She looked up and recognized the familiar boy. Her eyes dilated as she maintained eye contact with the curly haired boy. She flashed him a sweet smile.

"Hi again" Luke chortled softly as he looked at the pretty girl. All he could see now were her crystal blue eyes and her gleaming smile.

"You're Maeve right?" he questioned, she nodded with a soft smile. She continued to look at his eyes as he spoke. She tugged at her bottom lip

"I'm Luke Dunphy, it's nice to see you again" he said softly

Maeve nodded "Luke Dunphy, nice to meet you", she replied back, she got up from her stool and walked toward him to shake his hand.

"Oh you shake hands?" Luke questioned but continued to shake her hand, he couldn't believe he was holding hands with such a pretty girl on his first week of school.

"You don't?" she said frowning, biting her lower lip. Luke glanced at her confused expression and thought it was so funny.

"Hey it's fine, I should probably shake hands more, my dad always does that for his job" , Luke reassured her with a grin on his face.

"Oh, what does your dad do?" She wondered

Luke started to trial on about his dad and Maeve thought Phil was so funny, she wished one day she could meet him.

While the two teenagers talked by the piano, in the back of the auditorium sat two girls with large grins on their faces. They were so proud of Maeve, they had always wished for her to make more friends so people could finally appreciate her more as a person.

"Look at them, they're so cute" Jane whispered in Thea's ear, she had tried her best not to laugh at how excited Jane was for Maeve.
